Conventionally, it was known to knit yarn with beads pre-threaded through it using a crochet hook or knitting machine, but
According to this conventional method, not only is it impossible to knit with a knitting machine, but if there is a shortage of beads during knitting, the knitting yarn must be cut in the middle and the missing beads must be threaded through the cut end. In particular, when creating a pattern using several types of beads of different colors, either count the stitches in the pattern before starting knitting and thread the different beads in the order in which they will be knitted, or cut the knitting thread each time you change beads. The required number of beads must be threaded through the cut end, and in each case, the number of beads required must be counted and threaded through the knitting thread, reducing preparation time and reducing the work efficiency of knitting. In addition, cutting the knitting yarn and threading the beads through them creates knots, which makes the product look and feel bad.Furthermore, the beads get in the way during knitting, so it is difficult to use beads other than small, spherical beads. It had drawbacks such as not being able to be woven.

Therefore, the present inventor previously proposed a method for efficiently knitting beads into stitches using needle loops or sinker loops of unfinished stitches (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication Nos. 55-152843 and 56-85427). (see official bulletin),
These methods utilize the needle loops 2 or sinker loops 3 of unfinished stitches that are locked to the knitting needles 1 of the knitting machine, as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 A and B. ), the beads 4 are efficiently knitted into the stitches, and the above-mentioned problems of the conventional method can be solved. ), and if it were possible to position it vertically along the knitting direction, it would not only be possible to use conventional bead knitting, but also to be related to the previous proposal of the present inventor. This invention was proposed by focusing on the fact that bead knitting has a surprising and tasteful quality that cannot be seen in bead knitting.

First, in this invention, a crochet needle 11 through which beads 10 are inserted in advance is prepared. This crochet needle 11 can be of a conventionally known type, and among the unfinished stitches 12 hanging on the knitting machine, the sinker loop is first used.
The hook 14 of this crochet hook 11 is hooked onto the sinker loop 13, and the sinker loop 13 is pulled out slightly toward the front (Fig. 3).

Next, the beads 10 are transferred to the sinker loop 13 from the crochet hook 11 side and the state is maintained. And on the other hand, using the same crochet hook 11, the sinker loop 1
Remove one of the left and right needle loops 15 on the same row of No.
7. As shown in FIG. 4, the sinker loop 13 will be stretched slightly in the direction of arrow B in order to pass the needle loop 15, but the stitch 12 where this sinker loop 13 exists is unfinished, so the stitch Since the entirety of the sinker loop 12 is stretchable, the sinker loop 13 can be sufficiently stretched in the direction of arrow B without breaking the stitch 12.
Next, the needle loop 15 inserted into the free end 17 of the sinker loop 13 was again locked to the original knitting needle 16, and a carriage (not shown) was run to position the beads 10 vertically along the knitting direction of the stitches 12. All you have to do is complete stitch 12.

In the above explanation, an example has been given of machine knitting, but the method is of course not limited to this, and the method of the present invention is directly applicable to hand knitting. It is applicable not only to pattern knitting, lace knitting, etc., but also to any other stitches.

When the stitch 12 is completed, the sinker loop 13 into which the bead 10 is inserted is positioned in a horizontally tilted state via the needle loop 15, as shown in FIG. The position is fixed within the stitch 12 while maintaining the "vertical" state along the direction A).

As explained above, according to the present invention, the hook of the crochet hook, which has beads inserted through it and supported, is hooked onto the sinker loop of the unfinished stitch, the sinker loop is slightly pulled out, and the bead is inserted into the sinker loop from the crochet hook side. , remove either the left or right needle loop of the sinker loop from the knitting needle, insert it into the free end of the sinker loop after the beads have been transferred, and lock the inserted needle loop to the original knitting needle again. Since the stitch is completed while the beads are positioned vertically along the knitting direction of the stitch, various effects related to the previous proposal of this inventor can be obtained, for example, a desired bead can be knitted into a desired stitch. , it goes without saying that there is no need to cut the knitting yarn when weaving beads, and in contrast to conventional bead knitting, where the beads are positioned horizontally with respect to the knitting direction, this invention According to the method, beads can be woven vertically, making it possible to provide bead woven products that are both unexpected and highly interesting. It also has the effect of being able to prevent the locking stitches from becoming loose.
