Although various methods have been considered for the peeling developing device, the present invention relates to a peeling developing device that uses a method of peeling off the cover base by friction. That is, a peeling roller with many minute protrusions on its surface (for example, a brush roller or a plastic roller with molded protrusions).
is rotated in the opposite direction to the direction in which the photosensitive material is transported, and this is installed on the cover base side along the photosensitive material transport path, and the tip of the cover base is peeled off by the friction of the fine protrusions on the surface of the peeling roller. Favorable results have been obtained by a method in which the cover base is then peeled off, held between rollers, and sequentially pulled and peeled off. In this way, when the peeling roller (for example, a brush roller) that has many minute protrusions on its surface is brought into contact with the cover base surface of the photosensitive material to cause friction, when the peeling roller makes rotational contact with the photosensitive material, In order to prevent the photosensitive material from escaping, a back-up plate is required to press the support side of the photosensitive material. On the other hand, if the tip of the cover base becomes detached from the photosensitive material and is successively peeled off by the peeling roller, the backup plate becomes more harmful than unnecessary. In other words, a resist image remains on the support from which the cover base has been peeled off, and this resist image will be damaged by contact with the fine protrusions on the surface of the peeling roller. It is necessary to remove the material from the transport path. Similarly, it is preferable that the peeling roller is also removed from the conveyance path.

In reality, a plurality of back-up plates having such a function are installed perpendicular to the conveying direction of the photosensitive material, but the contact pressure between the peeling roller and the surface of the photosensitive material is not uniform everywhere. This is an important condition. One way to adjust the contact pressure of the peeling roller applied to the surface of the photosensitive material is to select the distance between the peeling roller and the backup plate, but this method requires extremely high precision and cannot be easily realized. Also, the method of biasing the back-up plate using a spring and selecting the spring pressure is not impossible to adjust;
If the length or elasticity of the minute protrusions on the surface of the peeling roller are not uniform, the distance between the photosensitive material and the back-up plate will vary, and the back-up plate will follow and move. Since the biasing pressure changes, a uniform pressure cannot be obtained as a result. Even if satisfactory adjustments could be made by adjusting the spacing and spring pressure, the mechanism for inserting and retracting the backup plate into and out of the photosensitive material transport path would have to be highly accurate. This results in high costs in terms of production, maintenance, etc. Based on the above considerations, the applicant has determined that the contact pressure between the peeling roller and the photosensitive material is always uniform regardless of changes in the distance between the peeling roller and the backup plate, and regardless of the physical properties of the surface of the peeling roller. They came to the conclusion that the most suitable way to maintain it was to use gravity. In particular, as previously filed by the present applicant in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 53-65733 (Patent Publication No. 58-45699) as "Peeling and developing device," a peeling roller means that combines a peeling roller and a peeling roller in a skewer shape is used. When using the peeling roller, there are some dimensional and physical variations between individual peeling rollers, so back-up and
Since it is necessary that the contact pressure between the peeling roller and the photosensitive material be uniform regardless of the position of the plate, the use of gravity is particularly effective in this type of peeling developing device.

The object of the present invention is to laminate a cover base to a support via a photosensitive layer, expose the photosensitive layer through the cover base, and then peel off the cover base to form a resist image on the support. In a developing device, when developing a photosensitive material, a peeling roller having a large number of minute protrusions on its surface is rotated in a direction opposite to the direction in which the photosensitive material is transported, contacts the cover base from below, and peels off the roller. This is achieved by providing a backup plate on the peeling roller, which performs the backup function by coming into contact with the upper surface of the photosensitive material being transferred by gravity.

FIG.
No. 76029 (Special Publication No. 58-45700) “Peeling and developing device”
FIG. 2 is a side view showing a mode in which the present invention is implemented in the apparatus disclosed in the embodiment, and FIG. 2 is a plan view thereof. In this embodiment, the above-mentioned brush roller as the peeling roller and the peeling roller are configured in a skewer shape. In the figure, a peeling roller 1 and a peeling brush roller 2 having a larger diameter than the roller are provided in the shape of a skewer, and the skewer-shaped roller is moved in a direction opposite to the direction in which the photosensitive material is transported in the direction of arrow A. The cover base is sequentially peeled off from the tip of the photosensitive material using the peeling brush roller 2. This peeled off cover base is pulled out downward by the peeling roller 1 and the nip roller 3 that comes into pressure contact with the peeling roller 1. A plurality of back up rollers 4 that rotate in contact with a plurality of nip rollers 3 are fixed to the shaft 6, while a guide roller 5 positioned in a skewer shape with the back up rollers 4 is fixed to the shaft 6.
is rotatably supported via ball bearings. Therefore, all of the back-up rollers 4 are rotated at a constant speed by the nip roller 3, and each of the guide rollers 5 is rotated by the peeling brush roller 2.
in a direction different from the back-up roller 4,
In other words, the cover base is rotated in a direction to pull it out.
For this reason, the cover base is pulled out in the direction of arrow C by the peeling brush roller 2 and the guide roller 5 without being wrapped around the nip roller 3. The guide bar 7 is to prevent the cover base from wrapping around the peeling brush roller 2, and the guide bar 8 is to prevent the cover base from wrapping around the guide roller 5. It's structured. The nip roller 3 is placed between the separation roller 1 and the back up roller 4, and is configured so that a nip pressure is applied by a press roller 9 that presses the photosensitive material being conveyed. In addition, a backup plate 10 is provided to prevent the photosensitive material from escaping when the peeling brush roller 2 comes into rotational contact with the photosensitive material. After the peeling is completed, it is designed to move upward.
Also, the developed image surface is removed by the peeling brush roller 2.
In order to protect the development by preventing contact with the cover base, the skewer-shaped roller is moved downward after the tip of the cover base is pinched by the separating roller 1 and the nipping roller 3 that comes into pressure contact with it. . FIG. 3 shows a state in which the backup plate 10 is moved upward and the skewer roller (peeling brush roller 2) is moved downward from the conveyance path A of the photosensitive material.

Here, the back-up plate 10, which is a main component in the structure of the present invention, is made of brass, iron, etc., which is formed into an appropriate size so as to obtain the necessary weight.
A cover plate 14 made of a material softer than the photosensitive material support (for example, plastic such as polyacetal) is fixed to the lower surface of the weight 15, which is made of stainless steel or the like, in order to prevent scratches from coming into contact with the photosensitive material. is provided with a rib 12 having a guide hole 11, into which a bar 13 for moving the backup plate 10 into and out of the conveyance path and for maintaining its position is inserted so as to be movable up and down. There is. In FIG. 1, the bar 13 is operated downward and the backup plate 10 is placed on top of the photosensitive material, and the weight of the backup plate 10 acts as a contact pressure between the photosensitive material and the peeling brush roller 2. . In Figure 3, bar 1
3 is operated upward and back up plate 1
0 indicates a state away from the photosensitive material. Since the back-up plate 10 is always acting downward due to its own weight, it can be moved into and out of the photosensitive material transport path extremely easily by moving the bar 13 up and down. It was possible to always apply contact pressure even when the strength or elasticity changed. If the same material is used to manufacture the back-up plate, it is possible to obtain the same contact by simply controlling the dimensions.
As a result, a uniform contact pressure was applied to the photosensitive material and good peeling development was obtained.

Since the present invention is as described above, peeling may occur when the dimensions or physical properties of the protrusions of a peeling roller with many minute protrusions on the surface change, or especially when a plurality of peeling rollers are used side by side. Even if there is some variation in the rollers, the structure is extremely simple and uniform contact pressure can be obtained without adjustment, making manufacturing and maintenance extremely easy.
