A conventionally known coloring method of this type is a method using a mixed aqueous solution of potassium sulfide and ammonia. However, according to this method, coloring takes time, and since the colored layer is thin, interference colors are likely to occur, resulting in non-uniform coloring. A known method for solving this problem is to use a mixed aqueous solution of potassium sulfide and ammonium chloride. According to this method, although the above-mentioned problem was solved, another problem occurred. In other words, since the mixed aqueous solution of potassium sulfide and ammonium chloride tends to precipitate sulfur, the life of the solution is short and can only be used for about 2 to 3 hours, and if it is colored too much, the colored film will peel off and the coloring will be uneven. This caused the following problem.

The present invention began with a method in which the copper surface of a material made of copper or subjected to copper plating treatment is immersed in an aqueous solution containing only ammonium sulfide. According to this method, uniform coloring is possible, and since the ammonium sulfide aqueous solution does not easily precipitate sulfur, the life of the solution is long, and the coloring power hardly decreases even after one day. However, the coloring power is weak. However, the problem remained that the coloring strength was weak, it took several minutes to color, and interference colors were likely to appear. Next, a method using a mixed aqueous solution in which potassium sulfide was added to an ammonium sulfide aqueous solution was carried out. According to this method, the coloring power is dramatically improved, the coloring becomes deeper, and the coloring time is shortened so that the coloring can be done in about 20 to 30 seconds, leaving only the problem that interference colors tend to appear. Ivy. Therefore, we used a mixed aqueous solution in which potassium sulfide and ammonium chloride were added to the ammonium sulfide aqueous solution. By this method,
The problem of easy appearance of interference colors has been solved without impairing the lifespan, coloring power, and uniform coloring properties of the coloring liquid (mixed aqueous solution in which potassium sulfide and ammonium chloride are added to an aqueous ammonium sulfide solution). In other words, by immersing the copper surface of a copper or copper-plated material in a mixed aqueous solution in which potassium sulfide and ammonium chloride are added to an ammonium sulfide aqueous solution, sulfide coloring can be achieved uniformly and without interference color in a short time. and the life of the colored liquid can be maintained for a long time.

Note that the mixed aqueous solution used in the surface coloring method for copper products of the present invention preferably contains 5% or less ammonium sulfide by weight, as ammonium sulfide has a strong ammonia odor. Potash is 20% by weight to ammonium sulfide
% or less, and if too much ammonium chloride is used, sulfur may precipitate, so it is desirable that the amount is suitably small. Further, the copper surface of the raw material is immersed in this mixed aqueous solution, and at this time, it goes without saying that the mixed aqueous solution may be applied or sprayed onto the copper surface of the raw material.

As mentioned above, the method for coloring the surface of copper products of the present invention is a method characterized by immersing the copper surface of a material made of copper or a copper-plated material in an aqueous ammonium sulfide solution. It is an epoch-making method for surface coloring copper products that can perform sulfur coloring without smearing, and the coloring solution has a long lifespan, and fibers can be colored for a long time. This method solves all the problems of conventional coloring methods.
