In a conventional single leaf spring type axle box support device for a railway vehicle bogie, a conical cylindrical elastic member is arranged between one end of the single leaf spring and one side of the axle box so that its axis is in the vertical direction. For example, the special public

Therefore, in order to make the stiffness of this type of elastic member relatively small in the left-right direction, it has already been proposed that a conical cylindrical elastic member is interposed so that its axis is in the left-right direction (patent application 53−75838

However, in this latter case, since the rigidity of the conical cylindrical elastic member in the torsional direction is small, the axle box easily rotates. It has the disadvantage that it comes into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the guide tube that is attached to the side beam of the frame so as to hang down. Further, since the metal fittings for sandwiching and supporting the conical cylindrical elastic member as described above have to have a conical cylindrical shape, there is a drawback that the cost is high due to the shape.

An object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, to increase the rigidity of the elastic member interposed between one end of the single leaf spring and one side of the axle box in both the longitudinal and torsional directions, and to simultaneously increase the rigidity in both the longitudinal and torsional directions. It is an object of the present invention to provide a single leaf spring type axle box support device for a railway vehicle bogie that has relatively low directional rigidity and is low in cost.

To achieve the above object, the single leaf spring type axle box support device for a railway vehicle bogie according to the present invention has an elastic member interposed between one end of the single leaf spring and one side of the axle box. The elastic member is characterized in that it has a flat plate shape that is inclined only in the front-back direction.

According to the present invention, since the elastic member interposed between one end of the single leaf spring and one side of the axle box has a flat plate shape that is inclined only in the front-back direction, the bogie vibrates in the front-back direction. In this case, compressive and shear stress is generated in the elastic member, and its rigidity is large as before. If the truck vibrates in the left-right direction, only shear stress is generated in the elastic member, and its rigidity is relatively small. Also, if the elastic member is twisted,
Compressive and shear stress is generated in the elastic member, and its rigidity is high, so that it is possible to maintain good running performance of the vehicle and at the same time prevent the axle box safety member from tilting. In particular, since the elastic member has a flat plate shape, the metal fittings to sandwich and support it are
Since it is sufficient to have a flat plate shape, the cost is reduced. Note that by changing the inclination angle of the elastic member, its rigidity can be changed as appropriate.

According to the above structure, when the truck vibrates in the longitudinal direction, the rubber plate 19 of the elastic member 18 interposed between the leaf spring seat 8 and the leaf spring mounting seat 15
Compression and shear stress are generated, and the rigidity thereof is a large appropriate value, and when the truck vibrates in the left-right direction, only shear stress is generated in the rubber plate 19 of the elastic member 18, so its rigidity is relatively low. When a torsional action is applied to the rubber plate 19 of the elastic member 18, compression and shear stress are generated on the rubber plate 19, and its rigidity is large. Contact between the safety lever 31 of the box and the guide tube 32 is prevented.
