These displays usually have individual letters and designs made three-dimensionally from galvanized iron plates, and if necessary, neon tubes or the like are housed inside. However, since a large display is about 5 meters square in size, it is also heavy and requires skill to install. Furthermore, the only way to add color to galvanized iron is to paint it, and especially if it is installed outdoors, the paint will peel off after about 3 to 4 years.
Needs to be repainted. Furthermore, even if painted repeatedly, the service life is limited to 10 to 15 years at most due to corrosion of the galvanized iron. Moreover, if high-voltage neon tubes or the like are placed inside the font, there is a risk of electrical leakage or shorts, and these points must be taken into consideration.

After butting them together, adding glass fiber bundles, and bonding them together with a thermosetting resin, a thermosetting resin composition is poured into the inside of the side plate so that the lower end of the side plate is buried, and it is hardened and integrated with the side plate. The gist of this is to form a shape plate that is glued to the surface.

The shape plate 1 in the present invention is made by forming the side plate 2 in advance into a mold with a predetermined character, and then pouring a thermosetting resin composition into the mold.
It is formed by hardening.

The formwork 3 is formed by standing the side plates 2 upright on a stand 4 and connecting the opposing edges of each side plate 2. To make the side plate 2 stand upright, for example, if the stand 4 is made of wood, a pin (such as a steel needle) 5 is stuck into the stand 4 and the side plate 2 is held by the pin 5, or if the stand 4 is made of iron. In this case, it is preferable that the side plate 2 is held between cylindrical, rod-shaped, or plate-shaped magnets. Note that in order to form the molds 3, it is preferable in terms of work efficiency to draw the outlines of characters, etc. on the table 4 in advance (not shown), and to arrange the molds 3 along the outlines. As the side plate 3, glass fiber reinforced plastic made of thermosetting resin using glass fiber as a reinforcing material is suitably employed.

い。 The thermosetting resin composition is prepared by adding a curing agent or the like as necessary to a thermosetting resin such as unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, polyurethane, or urea resin. It is preferable to improve the strength by mixing strands, powder, etc. At this time, powdered lightweight aggregate such as perlite may be mixed in place of or together with the glass fibers to increase the thickness and strength of the molded product.

It is preferable that the thickness be 20 mm, preferably 1 to 10 mm. If the thickness is smaller than the above range, there will be concerns about the adhesive strength between the shape plate 1 and the side plate 2. Further, even if the amount is made larger than the above range, a commensurate effect cannot be obtained. If there is any doubt about the adhesive strength between the side plate 2 and the shape plate 1, an L-shaped reinforcing piece 7 made of the same material as the side plate 2 may be glued to the lower end of the side plate 2 as shown in FIG. Then, the thermosetting resin composition may be poured in, or after the composition is poured, the reinforcing piece 5 may be bonded. The L-shaped reinforcing piece 7 may be adhered to either the inside or outside of the side plate 2.

しめることができるのである。 As detailed above, the method of the present invention reduces the complexity of manufacturing when the side plate 2 is glued to the peripheral edge of the profile plate 1 after cutting the profile plate 1 and the side plate 2 separately as in the conventional method. After connecting the side plates 2 to each other, the shape plate 1 is easily formed by simply pouring a thermosetting resin composition into the formwork 3, and the shape plate and the side plates as well as the side plates are firmly adhered to each other. This has the remarkable effect of making it possible to manufacture all kinds of display bodies all at once. Therefore, when using the method of the present invention, for example, complex Chinese characters and designs can be produced easily and inexpensively, and the processing work can be made extremely easy.
