庭用の水道用量水器箱に関するものである。

り破壊されることが多く、このことは交通量の激
しい地区で著しい。このため前記の方形枠状体で
は蓋体を鋳鉄等で構成し、更に方形枠状体の地表
面付近をも鋳鉄等で補強しているが、なお十分で
なく定期的(8年毎)に行われる量水器(メータ
ー)の取換え時以外においても量水器箱の補修取
換を余儀なくされていた。

ある。つまり寒冷地においても地中の温度は比較
的暖かく、地表面附近の温度が気温の変化に応じ
て激しく変化するので、地中の比較的暖かい空気
を量水器箱内に貯溜させておき、上部の冷たい空
気の流入をできるだけ抑制して保温を維持すれば
よいのであつて、このため、この発明では貯溜部
である底部を相当の広さとして大量の保温空気が
貯溜されるようにし、また冷却空気の通路になる
筒体部はその断面積を狭くして、外部から冷され
る表面積を少なくすると共に、上記貯溜空気の上
面が全面的に冷却されないようにしたものであ
る。
