達した。 Traditionally, as a measure to streamline the spinning yarn manufacturing process, continuous tow of synthetic fibers is cut into slivers, which are given conjugation properties through false twisting, etc.
A method of manufacturing yarn directly from tow has been proposed. Devices that perform such tension cutting include a roller that sends out continuous long fiber tow, a pair of draft rollers that rotate at a circumferential speed greater than the circumferential speed of the delivery roller and apply a draft to the tow and cut the tow between it and the delivery roller; Also known is a tow transfer apron belt that is wound around the draft roller from an intermediate position between the feed roller and the draft roller. When this device is used to cut continuous filament tow, as the cutting speed increases, the accompanying vortex of air caused by the draft roller collides with the apron belt, creating a complex turbulent flow. This disturbs the stretch-cut fibers that make up the sliver, causing uneven yarn quality in the resulting spun yarn, and the sliver gets wrapped around the draft roller, causing frequent yarn breakage.
As a result of intensive studies to solve this problem, the inventors of the present invention found that it is sufficient to provide a bump-full plate to block the influence of the air vortex. Heading The present invention has been arrived at.

る。 That is, the present invention provides a feed-out roller, a pair of draft rollers that rotate at a circumferential speed greater than the circumferential speed of the feed-out roller, and which cut the continuous long fiber tow between the feed-out roller and the feed-out roller. In a tension cutting device having a continuous long fiber tow transfer apron belt wound around at least one of the pair of draft rollers from an intermediate position between the rollers, the continuous long fiber tow transfer surface of the apron belt is This is a tension cutting device for continuous long fiber tow, which is characterized by being provided with a full plate.

The point is that we have established this. The baffle plate 5 prevents the vortex flow of air generated by the rotation of the draft rollers 2 and 2' from colliding with the apron belt 4 and becoming turbulent, affecting the sliver, causing uneven yarn quality, or wrapping around the draft roller. It has the function of preventing yarn breakage, and is usually made of a plate-like material such as plastic or metal. It is convenient to use transparent plastic or the like because the tension-cut state of the tow can be easily observed.

乱流の影響を防ぐうえで望ましい。 The width of the full board 5 is the continuous long fiber tow T during tension cutting.
In order to prevent the influence of air turbulence, it is desirable that the gap between the buttful plate 5 and the continuous fiber transfer surface 4a of the apron belt 4 be 10 mm or less, preferably 5 mm or less. .

ある。 The baffle board 5 may be a single plate-like body covering the continuous filament tow as shown in FIGS. If the apron belt 4 is provided so as to cover the side surface of the apron belt 4 that is wound between one of the draft rollers 2, 2' and the tension roller 3, the influence of air turbulence can be more reliably prevented and the speed can be increased. This is preferable because it allows for tension cutting. It is convenient for removing clogged slivers, cleaning, etc. to attach the baffle plate 5 so that it can be detached or rotated or opened and closed.

It is preferable to provide it over a length of 30 mm or more.
Figure 5 shows polyethylene terephthalate POY tow (total denier 10,000 de) with a single yarn denier of 2.1 de spun at a spinning speed of 3,500 m/min, using the equipment shown in Figures 1 and 2, at a stretch cutting magnification of 50 times. This figure shows the relationship between the number of times the sliver is broken (ge/24 hours), the presence or absence of the buttful plate 5, its length L, and the tension cutting speed when the sliver is cut by tension. From this figure, Batsuful board 5
If the length is 30mm or more, the cutting speed will be 200m/
It can be seen that even at high speeds of 300 m/min or more, especially 300 m/min or more, the sliver is unlikely to break.

In the above explanation, an example has been explained in which the apron belt 4 is wrapped around only one of the draft rollers 3', but it is also possible to use the apron belt wrapped around the other roller 3 of the draft rollers. In this case, both apron belts may be provided in a figure-eight shape expanded in the upstream direction of transport of the continuous long fiber tow, and a buttful plate may be provided at the expanded portion.

The accompanying vortex flow generated by the high-speed rotation of the draft roller and the accompanying turbulent flow hit the stretch-cut sliver and disturb the stretch-cut fibers, causing yarn unevenness or causing the sliver to wind up on the draft roller. Frequent occurrence of yarn breakage can be prevented, and high quality spun yarn can be manufactured at high speed and with good productivity.

顕著な効果が認められる。 Furthermore, the device of the present invention can be used to cut all kinds of continuous fiber tows such as synthetic fibers and recycled fibers, but in particular, the sliver wraps around the draft roller during tension cutting, resulting in frequent yarn breakage and tension cutting. When used for tension cutting of continuous long fiber tow of polyester yarn, which is considered to be difficult, the number of sliver breakage is significantly reduced, and a remarkable effect is observed.
