BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, in a small boat without a bridge and having a structure in which an engine casing protrudes above the deck, an instrument panel is provided inside the engine casing. For this reason, the engine casing lid must be left open to the extent that the instrument panel can be seen when sailing, and this means that water can enter the engine room in the rain and the lid can be blown off in strong winds. Another drawback was that the engine noise was loud because the lid was open.
The reason why the instrument panel is installed inside the engine casing is to protect it from various waves and rain that may occur during navigation. The instrument panel has a tachometer, heater signal, key switch, and indicator lamps for charging, water temperature, oil pressure, etc. Of these, the indicator lamp and tachometer can themselves be made waterproof, but the key switch and heater signal cannot be made waterproof. For this reason, it was considered impossible to install the instrument panel outside the engine casing.

The present invention was made to solve these drawbacks, and the various drawbacks mentioned above are solved by installing the instrument panel outside the engine casing.

The present invention will be explained below with reference to drawings of embodiments. In Fig. 1, 1 is a hull made of fiber-reinforced plastic, 2 is a diesel engine, 3 is an engine casing made of fiber-reinforced plastic and integrally formed on the deck, 6 is a rudder rod operated by a human, and 7
is a cover for the opening in the engine casing.
Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, an instrument panel 5 was installed on the inside side of the opening 4 of the engine casing 3.
During navigation, the lid 7 was left half-open as shown by the imaginary line in FIG. 1, and the instrument panel 5 was viewed through the opening for steering.

In this invention, the instrument panel 5 is installed on the stern wall 31 of the engine casing 3, as shown in FIG. That is, one side of the wall 31 is provided with a recess 9 that gradually becomes deeper toward the top, and the instrument panel 5 is installed on the back wall of the recess 9. Therefore, even during navigation, the instrument panel 5 can be seen with the lid 7 and the differential plate 70 at the opening of the engine casing 3 completely closed, which prevents rainwater from entering the engine room and the lid 7 from being exposed to wind. There is no risk of being blown away, and engine noise can also be reduced. Further, since the instrument panel 5 is installed on an inclined surface, the driver 10 can easily see the instrument panel 5. Incidentally, the instrument panel 5 is protected from waves and rain by the ends and flange of the hatch cover 32 on the upper side, the side walls 90 of the recess 9 on the left and right sides, and the body of the helmsman 10 on the rear side. Waterproofing is achieved. In particular, if you place items that can be made waterproof, such as the tachometer in the instrument panel 5, at the bottom, and items that cannot be made waterproof, such as the key switch or diesel engine heater signal, at the top, the key switch etc. should be placed in the recess 9. Waterproofing is better because it is placed deep in the water. In the above configuration, the hatch cover 3
The rear end portion of 2 and the collar portion 33 protrude rearward from the upper surface of the instrument panel 5 to form a cover of the instrument panel.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a protrusion 8 is formed on the stern side wall 31 of the engine casing 3, and the protrusion amount gradually increases toward the bottom, and an instrument panel 5 is mounted on the inclined surface of the protrusion 8. It is installed. Further, a transparent cover 11 is attached to the upper part of the instrument panel 5 to cover the upper part and the left and right sides. In this configuration, waves from the top and sides are protected by the cover 11, waves from the rear are protected by the helmsman, and the lid 7 of the opening of the engine casing is protected by the cover 11. The plate 70 is completely closed when the instrument panel 5 is closed.
can be seen.

As explained above, the present invention provides a ship having a structure in which a removable lid is attached to the casing, in which the stern wall of the casing is used as an instrument panel, and the upper surface of the instrument panel is A cover is formed that protrudes to the rear, which prevents rainwater from entering the engine room, prevents the lid from being blown off by the wind, and reduces noise. This is how it was done.
