織物又は編物の生製には、生製された布をジグ
ザグ状に折り畳んだ容器に入れたり、ローラーに
捲き取つたりするが、近年はローラーに捲き取る
形式が多くなつており、特に丸編機では捲取ロー
ラーを機械の下部に取付けて之を回転して布を捲
き取り、併せて布地に適度の張力を与えるように
なつているが、最近の労働事情から省力化のため
に捲取ローラーが満反になると自動的に布地が切
断され、満反になつた布地が機外に排出され、新
たな捲取ローラーが自動的に機械に供給されて之
が製布中の布地先端をつかんで捲き取りをするよ
うにしたものが開発されている。この場合に布地
のつかみとり手段として、ローラーに植針(固
定)されたものがあるが、この形式によるローラ
ーから布地を除去するのに針が障害となつて困難
