DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for forming bent-shaped tiles (also referred to as L-shaped tiles) that are attached to side wall corners of buildings.

Conventionally, in order to press-form a refracted-shaped tile (hereinafter referred to as a refractive tile) in which two planes are bent at an angle of about 90 degrees to 135 degrees using a mold from a powder raw material, a V-shape is used as shown in Figure 1. Lower mold a with a concave molding surface
It consists of an upper mold b having a V-shaped protruding molding surface and a mold frame c surrounding the lower mold a, and the powder mass d is filled with powder raw material as shown in FIG. 3
As shown in the figure, it was press-formed. However, in this molding method, when filling the powder raw material, the powder raw material slides down the V-shaped slope of the lower mold a, and the packing density of the raw material becomes uneven. Then, the difference in density becomes a difference in shrinkage rate, resulting in a drawback that the dimensional accuracy of the product becomes extremely poor.

Therefore, as shown in Figure 4, both edges of the molded product are cut to obtain the correct dimensions in areas where the raw material density is as uniform as possible, but this method results in a lot of raw material loss, and If it is not cut, there will be many chips and the yield will be poor, and the manufacturing process will be complicated, such as the energy cost for drying, resulting in high manufacturing costs.

A second object of the present invention is to use the molding method to form a rough surface such as that of teppei stone or other stone surface, or a sculptural uneven pattern on the surface of the refractive tile.

FIG. 5 shows an outline of the press machine used here. In the figure, 1 is a press bed, 2 and 2 are pillars established on the press bed, 3 is a fixed plate installed over the pillars, and 4 is a pressure plate supported by the pillars 2 and 2 so as to be able to move up and down. 5 is a hydraulic cylinder, 6 is an upper die fixed to the lower surface of the press plate 4, and 7 is a press bed 1.
A lower mold mounting base is fixedly installed on the top, 8 is a fixed lower mold, 9 is a movable lower mold, 10 is a mold frame surrounding the lower mold, and 11 is a receiving frame (also known as a bolster) that supports the mold frame 10. ). The receiving frame 11 is connected to a piston rod 12' of a hydraulic cylinder 12 provided below the press bed 1 via a connecting rod 13, and when the hydraulic cylinder 12 operates, the receiving frame 11 moves up and down to move the mold frame 10 up and down. I'm trying to make it possible.

The fixed lower mold 8 is fixed to the lower mold mount 7 and has a narrow molding surface 8a, as shown in an enlarged view in FIG.
Furthermore, the movable lower mold having a wide molding surface 9a has a built-in floating cylinder 14, so that the movable lower mold 9 can be urged upward by hydraulic or pneumatic pressure supplied into the cylinder 14. There is. on the other hand,
The upper mold 6 has a flat molding surface 6a facing the molding surface 9a of the movable lower mold 9, and has a narrow molding surface 6b facing the molding surface 8a of the fixed lower mold 8 on one side edge thereof. It is formed with stepped notches. In addition, 15 is the mold frame 10
This is a powder mass for supplying powder raw materials, which is installed so as to slide on top.

However, when molding a refracting tile using a lever mold, first, the floating cylinder 1 is
4 is operated to levitate the movable lower mold 9 and its molding surface 9a is held higher than the molding surface 8a of the fixed lower mold 8, and the mold frame 10 is moved upward by the operation of the hydraulic cylinder 12, thereby raising the powder mass. 15 is moved onto the lower mold, and the powder raw material is filled into the mold frame 10. (The state is shown in FIG. 7.) The amount of filling is appropriately adjusted depending on the flying distance of the movable lower mold 9 or the amount of upward movement of the mold 10. Thereafter, the upper mold 6 is lowered into the mold frame 10, and the filled powder raw material is pressurized. At the same time, move the lower mold 9 to its molding surface 9a.
is lowered until it is flush with the molding surface 8a of the fixed lower mold 8. (The state is shown in FIG. 8.) When the pressure molding is thus completed, the mold frame 10 is lowered and the molded product is demolded as shown in FIG. 9.

The molds described above with reference to FIGS. 6 to 9 are as follows:
The mold is for molding a refraction tile with a flat surface, and FIGS. 10 to 13 below show a mold for molding a refraction tile with an uneven pattern on the surface. In order to increase production efficiency, this mold allows four pieces to be molded simultaneously in one process. The feature of this mold is that the molding surface 8 of the fixed lower mold 8
A and the molding surface 9a of the movable lower mold 9 are respectively engraved with desired uneven patterns, and a raised wall 8b is integrally provided on the opposite side of the fixed lower mold 8 from the movable lower mold 9, and the raised wall A similar uneven pattern is engraved on the inner surface 8c of 8b. The rest of the structure is the same as that of the previous embodiment, so the same parts are given the same reference numerals. Note that in this mold, a floating cylinder is separately provided outside the mold. In this way, the raised wall 8 is attached to the fixed lower mold 8.
A desired uneven pattern can be formed on both surfaces of the refraction tile by providing a protruding portion b and carving an uneven pattern on its inner surface. That is, in the mold of the above embodiment, it was difficult to mold a deep uneven pattern because one surface of the molded product came into sliding contact with the inner surface of the mold frame during molding, but in the case of this mold, the raised wall 8b was provided. Since this sliding contact is eliminated, a desired uneven pattern can be easily formed on both surfaces.

As explained in the embodiments above, the method for molding refractive tiles according to the present invention can make the raw material density of the molded product uniform without uneven distribution of powder raw materials during filling, thereby improving the dimensional accuracy of the product. This has the advantage that high quality refracted shaped tiles can be produced at low cost.
