際、エチレンビニルアセテート樹脂と炭酸カルシ
ウムのような充填材とは混がしにくくて作業性が
悪いのみならず、混練りした後にロールでシート
状にしてこれを巻取りロールに巻取る際、いわゆ
る“ふんどし現象”と称されるたれ現象が生じて
巻取りにくいという問題があつた。

セテート樹脂とほぼ等量のポリプロピレン樹脂
と、充填材、発泡剤等を混入し、ミル、ミキサー
等で混練した後、ロールにて辷り止めスポンジシ
ートを形成し、これを巻取りロールに巻取る。上
記巻取リロールに巻取つたものを履物、風呂洗場
マツト、あるいはその他の得ようとする板状体の
形状に切り取つたり、打抜いたりして下層2を得
るものである。

ポリプロピレン樹脂を2重量部以下とすると、エ
チレンビニルアセテート樹脂と炭酸カルシウムの
ような充填材との混合がしにくく、また巻き取り
ロールに巻き取る際にいわゆる“ふんどし現象”
と称されるたれ現象が生じて作業性が悪くなるも
のである。

層はエチレンビニルアセテート樹脂100重量部に
対してポリプロピレン樹脂を2〜10重量部、充填
材、発泡剤を混合したものであるから、エチレン
ビニルアセテート樹脂と充填材との混合が容易に
できると共に製造時にロールに巻取る際にいわゆ
る“ふんどし現象”と称されるたれ現象がなくて
正確にロールに巻取ることができ、また上層には
適度の柔軟さが与えられるが保形性があつて基板
としての役目を失なわず、また足をのせた時足裏
が沈み込みすぎることがないものである。
