Traditionally, it has been used as a bar material for opening frames in houses, etc.
As shown in FIG. 1, a wooden bar 1 whose surface and one side are covered with a sheet 2 is used. The sheet 2 is made of vinyl chloride resin or the like.
3 is a chamfered portion. When manufacturing such a bar 1, in order to streamline the sheet coating work, a double-width bar 1' is coated with the sheet 2 as shown in Fig. 2, and this is cut at the center 4. This is called bar 1 in Fig. 1. In addition, when packing this bar material 1, a third
As shown in the figure, the sheets 2 are stacked with their coated surfaces aligned. However, in the past, the double-width bar 1' shown in Fig.
In order to stack the bar materials 1, which are produced in two parts, as shown in FIG. 3, it cannot be mechanized and has to be done manually, resulting in inefficiency.

Next, a method of stacking using the stacking device will be explained. First, the roller conveyor 5 shown in FIG.
The double-width bars 1' shown in the figure are sequentially carried in with their faces facing up. The first of these double-width bars 1' passes through the reversing device 10 face up without being reversed and advances toward the cutting machine 7. The second one is flipped upside down as it passes through the flipping device 10. In this way, the double-width bars 1' are sequentially and alternately conveyed into the cutting machine 7 with the front and back facing reversed. The cutting machine 7 cuts the double-width bar 1' at the center into two symmetrically shaped bars 1. In this state, the two side-by-side bars 1 have side surfaces 1b not covered with the sheet 2 adjacent to each other as shown in FIG. 8, and are sorted by the sorting device 8 as shown in FIGS. Sort.

The sorting operation will be explained. When the bars 1 are carried into the sorting device 8, they are lifted by the traverse conveyor 18 as shown by the chain line in FIG. 9A. This bar 1 is fed horizontally by a horizontal conveyor 18 until it hits a U-shaped lifting piece 21. Then, the U-shaped lifting piece 21 is lifted by driving the lifting cylinder 20.
One bar 11 is lifted, and the other bar 12 continues to be fed horizontally (Fig. 9B). After this, the lifting cylinder 20 is extended again and the bar 11 of the U-shaped lifting piece 21 is transferred to the lateral conveyor 1.
8 (FIG. 9C), the transverse feed conveyor 18 rotates in the return direction, and the bar 1 1 is lowered to the U-shaped lifting piece 21.
Get out of. Then, the U-shaped lifting piece 21 rises again, and both bars 1 1 and 1 2 are moved to the roller conveyor 5.
returned to the side. (Figure 9D). The bar 11 on the right side of FIG. 9D stops when it hits a suitably provided stopper, and the bar 12 on the left side is returned until it hits the bar 11 on the right side. In this way, the bar 1 (1 1 ,
1 2 ) are rearranged so that the sheet-covered side surfaces 1a are adjacent to each other. Although FIG. 9 describes the case where the two bars 1 are carried in face down, they can be rearranged in the same way even if they are carried in face up.

The bar materials 1 that have been rearranged are returned onto the roller conveyor 5 by the lowering of the transverse feed conveyor 18, and are carried by the roller conveyor 5 to the carry-in table 25 of the stacking device 9. And both loading tables 2
5 are opened from each other by the drive of the cylinder device 26, the bars 1 are dropped onto the table lifter 28 and stacked as shown in FIG. table lifter 2
8 is lowered by the thickness of one bar each time the bar 1 is stacked. In this way, the sheets 2 are stacked so that the side surfaces 1a covered with the sheets 2 are aligned. Moreover, since the bars 1 are alternately transported into the stacking device 9 with their front and back sides turned upside down, the stacked bars 1 are stacked so that their surfaces are aligned with each other. In this way, the sheets are stacked with their coated surfaces aligned with each other, but simply by providing the sorting device 11 and the reversing device 10 in addition to the stacking device 9, the bars 1 can be stacked with their sheet coated surfaces aligned. It is simple and allows for efficient collection work.

Note that the cutting machine 7 and the reversing device 6 may be rearranged so that the cutter is reversed after cutting, or the reversing device 6 may not be used and the reversing may be performed manually. In addition to the above-mentioned arrangement device 8, devices having various structures can be used.

As described above, the method for accumulating sheet-covered bars of the present invention involves arranging two bars at a time and transporting them alternately upside down, and then rearranging the transported bars midway so that the sheet-covered sides are brought together. By doing so, the layers are stacked sequentially at the end of the conveyance position.
This method has the effect that sheet-covered rods produced in two pieces can be efficiently stacked so that their coated surfaces meet, and that simple equipment is sufficient.
