なつて不均一圧延等の原因となつていた。

にかかる冷却水を制御する手段として第1図に示
す開閉式の遮蔽板7を設けると共に、圧延材4の
先端部4aと後端部4bを検出して、この検出信
号により冷却水制御手段としての遮蔽板7を、圧
延材4の先後端部分が冷えすぎないように、即ち
圧延材先端部分4aと後端部分4bの温度が所定
の冷却終了温度より降下しないように、連動操作
する先後端検出器9,10を設けてなることを特
徴とするものである。

を入力信号として作動される図示しない制御器の
