That is, in the figure, 1 is a main body of the washing machine, 2 is an upper plate attached to the upper end of the main body 1 with screws, and an operation box 3 of this upper plate 2 is integrally formed. Reference numeral 4 denotes an operation plate to which an operation switch 5 is attached, and this operation plate 4 is attached to the operation box 3. Reference numeral 6 denotes a washing tub provided within the main body 1, and a pulsator 8 rotated by a motor 7 is provided at the lower end of the washing tub. Reference numeral 9 denotes a lid for opening and closing the opening 2a of the upper plate 2. By the way, in this conventional washing machine, the operation parts [operation box 3, operation plate 4, operation switch 5] are provided on the rear side of the main body 1, so the operability is poor, and the upper plate 2, operation box 3, etc. Because they were made of iron plates, they were heavy, which caused problems in transportation.

In the figure, 11 is a main body, and the upper end of this main body 11 is covered with an upper plate 12. Reference numeral 13 is formed on the front side of the main body 11 by an upper end 14 of the main body 11, a front end 15 of the upper plate 12, and an operating plate 17 having an operating switch 16 and supported by the front end 15. The upper plate 12 and the operation plate 17 are made of synthetic resin. 18 is the main body 11
This is a washing tub installed inside, and a motor 1 is installed at the bottom end of this tub.
A pulsator 20 rotated by 9 is provided. Reference numeral 21 denotes a lid for opening and closing the opening 12a of the upper plate 12. Now, to describe the operation section 13 in detail, the upper plate 12 is configured to be fitted onto the upper end of the main body 11 and fixed with screws or the like.
That is, although there is no problem in fitting the top plate 12 onto both the right and left sides and the rear side of the main body 11, the front end 1 of the top plate 12 is difficult to fit onto the front side of the main body 11.
5 is integrally provided with a vertical rib 22 which is placed in contact with the upper end of the main body 11 and is fitted onto the upper end of the main body 11. A horizontal sash 23 is provided integrally with the vertical rib 22 so as to be located forward of the front surface of the main body 11, and both ends of the lateral sash 23 are connected to the front end of the upper plate 12 so as to protrude forward of the main body 11. It is connected to both left and right frame portions 15a, 15a formed at 15. 24 are boss portions integrally formed with the horizontal sash 23 at appropriate intervals in the length direction of the lateral sash 23 for attaching the operation plate 17, and each boss portion 24
has a screw hole 24a. On the other hand, the operation plate 17 integrally has an engaging claw 25 at its upper end that comes into contact with the inner surface of the front end 15 of the upper plate 12, and has a screw insertion hole 26 near its lower end that corresponds to the screw hole 24a of the boss portion 24. The lower end is configured to come into contact with the front surface of the main body 11 near the upper end. Therefore, when the operation plate 17 is installed at the upper end of the main body 11, the engaging claws 25 are first engaged with the inner surface of the front end 15 of the upper plate 12, and in this state both left and right ends of the operation plate 17 are attached to the upper end of the main body 11. Both left and right frame portions 15 of the front end portion 15 of the plate 12
a, 15a and the screw insertion hole 2
6 is aligned with the screw hole 24a of the boss portion 24, and the lower end of the operation plate 17 is brought into contact with the front surface near the upper end of the main body 11, and the screw 27 is screwed into the screw hole 24a from the screw insertion hole 26. The plate 17 is reliably supported by the upper end of the main body 11, specifically by the front end 15 of the upper plate 12. In this way, the front end 1 of the upper plate 12
An operating switch 16 is provided between the left and right frames 15a, 15a inside the operating panel 17 supported by the
A space 28 is formed so that the main body of the main body can be placed therein. In the figure, 29 is a removable cover that covers the mounting portion of the screw 27.

Insulation can be ensured by wrapping this lead wire 31 in a protective tube 32. As shown in FIG. 6, the lead wire 31 between the operation switch 16, etc. and the time switch 30, etc. is guided to one side of the operation plate 17, and then led rearward along the inner surface of one side of the upper plate 12. being guided. In this case, if the number of lead wires 31 increases, the lead wires 31 may be guided along the inner surface of both sides of the upper plate 12. Reference numerals 33 and 33 denote guide pins that sandwich the lead wire 31 from above and below and hold it in a fixed position inside the operation plate 17, and these are attached to the operation plate 17. By providing the guide pins 33, 33, it is possible to prevent the lead wire 31 from getting wedged between the inner surface of the operation plate 17 and the vertical rib 22, and also to prevent troubles such as wire breakage.

In this case, there is no problem in operating the operation switch 16 when the lid 21 is opened or closed. That is, if the operating switch is provided on the rear side of the upper end of the washing machine 36, it will be difficult to operate it when the lid 21 is open, but in the present invention, the operating switch 16 is provided on the front side of the upper end of the washing machine 36. Tank lid 2
The operation switch 16 can be operated without any trouble regardless of whether the switch 1 is opened or closed.

い。 The washing machine of the present invention can be implemented as described above, and in a laundry system as shown in FIG. However, in the present invention, by providing the operating section on the front side of the upper end of the washing machine, the operation can be performed easily regardless of whether the lid is open or closed. Further, according to the present invention, since both the upper plate and the operation plate are made of synthetic resin, there is no need for post-processing such as sheet metal painting when they are made of iron plates, and weight reduction and mass production can be achieved. In particular, if the upper plate and the operation plate are made of iron plates and the operation part is located on the front side of the washing machine, there is a concern that moisture contained in the laundry may drip and rust easily, but the present invention can also solve this problem. . By the way, in the present invention, since the vertical ribs are integrally provided on the upper plate as described above, the force from the vertical direction can be received by the vertical ribs (see part A in FIG. 5). Further, by providing a gap between this vertical rib and the inner surface of the operation plate, lead wires of electrical components such as an operation switch can be set in this gap. In addition, since this lead wire is located on the front side of the vertical rib, it is possible to remove the operation plate from the upper plate and place it on the upper plate as shown in Figure 7, making service work such as repairing operation switches more efficient. can do well. If the lead wires are routed behind the vertical ribs, the lead wires must pass between the vertical ribs for connection, making it difficult to support the lead wires. However, according to the present invention, the inner surface of the operation plate The lead wire can be easily supported between the top plate and the vertical rib of the top plate. Furthermore, by providing guide pins 33, 33 on the operation plate to hold the lead wire in a fixed position inside the operation plate,
If the lead wires are held by the guide pins 33, 33 in advance, the operation plate can be supported extremely easily on the upper plate. In addition, since the guide pin is formed so that it overlaps with the vertical rib by shifting its position, even a thin lead wire can be securely held without falling off the guide pin, eliminating the need to cover the lead wire with a protective tube. Nor.
