合成樹脂にて作られている。18は前記本体11
内に設けられた洗濯槽で、この下端にはモータ1
9によつて回転するパルセータ20が設けられて
いる。21は前記上板12の開口部12aを開閉
する蓋である。ところで前記操作部13を詳細に
述べると、前記上板12は本体11の上端に外嵌
してビス等で固定されるように構成されている。
即ち本体11の左右両側並びに後側に対する上板
12の外嵌は問題がないが、本体11の前側に対
する上板12の外嵌のために上板12の前端部1
5の内面には本体11の上端に接当載置して本体
11の上端に外嵌する縦リブ22を一体に設けて
ある。22aは該縦リブ22の下端近傍において

めに前記横サツシ23の長さ方向適当間隔おきに
横サツシ23と一体成形されたボス部で、各ボス
部24にはビス孔24aを有している。一方前記
操作板17は上端に前記上板12の前端部15の
上部より下方に延設されたひさし部15の内面に
接当する係合爪25を一体に有し、下端近傍にビ
ス挿通孔26を前記ボス部24のビス孔24aに
対応して設け、下端は前記本体11の上端近傍前
面に接当するように構成されている。従つてこの
操作板17を前記本体11の上端部に設ける場合
は先ず前記係合爪25を上板12の前端部15内
面に係合させ(第5図参照)、斯かる状態で操作
板17の左右両端を前記上板12の前端部15の
左右両枠部15a,15aに嵌入させると共に前
記ビス挿通孔26をボス部24のビス孔24aに
合致させ、又操作板17の下端を本体11の上端
近傍前面に接当させ、前記ビス挿通孔26よりビ
ス孔24aにビス27を螺合させることにより操
作板17は本体11の上端部詳しくは上板12の
前端部15に確実に支持される。このとき前記縦
リブ22の受け部22bには前記操作板17の内
面が接当する。このように上板12の前端部15
に支持された操作板17の内側には前記左右両枠
部15a,15a間において操作スイツチ16の
本体部を配置できるように空間28が形成される
ものである。尚図中29はビス27の取付部を覆

の開閉状態にかかわらず操作スイツチ16の操作
を支障なく行なえるものである。本発明洗濯機は
以上述べたように実施し得るものであり、前述の
第6図に示すようなランドリーシステムにおいて
操作部が洗濯機の上端後側部に設けられていると
蓋を開いた状態では操作がしにくいが、本発明で
は操作部を洗濯機の上端前側部に設けることによ
り蓋の開閉状態に関係なく操作を常に楽に行なう
ことができる。又本発明によれば前記上板及び操
作板は共に合成樹脂で作つているため、例えばこ
れらを鉄板で作る場合の板金塗装等の後処理も必
要とせず、軽量化並びに量産化が計れる。特に前
記上板及び操作板が鉄板で作られて洗濯機の前側
部に操作部があると洗濯物に含まれる水分が滴下
して錆び易いという心配が生じるが、本発明はこ
の問題も解決できる。ところで本発明は前述のよ
うに上板に縦リブを一体に設けているために、縦
方向からの力は縦リブで受けることができる〔第
