工装置を提供するものであり、その一実施例を第
1図〜第5図により説明する。図において、1は
上部ダイ、2は下部ダイ、3は球形ポンチ、4は
右プツシヤ、5は左プツシヤである。上部ダイ1
は管体6の外周に接して上方より管体6を押え
る。又下部ダイ2は管体6の外周に接して下方よ
り管体6を支える。さらに下部ダイ2は球形ポン
チとの関連で管体6にバーリング部を形成させる
ためにバーリング部7の完成時外径に等しい穴8
を有する。右プツシヤ4と左プツシヤ5は球形ポ
ンチ3を管体6の軸線に対し垂直に押下げるため
のもので、この右プツシヤ4と左プツシヤ5とに
は各々の進行方向に向つて先細りのテーパ面9が
形成されていると共に、このテーパ面9は管体6
の軸線に向つて対向した傾斜面となつておりか
つ、先端は半円柱形に形成され左右のプツシヤ先
端があわさつた時管体6の内径に略等しい円柱形
となるよう構成されている。また、第1図、第3
図に示すように、右プツシヤ、左プツシヤは互い
に交又可能なように配設されている。次に動作を
説明する。先ず第2図に示すように管体6に予め
明けた下穴6Aと下部ダイ2の穴8と同芯的に管
体6を上部ダイ1と下部ダイ2によつて保持す
る。次に管体6の内部に球形ポンチ3を入れ、右
プツシヤ4、左プツシヤ5を下部ダイ2の穴8の
軸芯に対し、同位置、同速で相互に逆方向に管体
6内を進行せしめることにより、第3図、第4図
に示すように、球形ポンチ3を穴8に添つて管体
6外に突出せしめることによりバーリング部7を
形成する。この時は左右のプツシヤ4,5により
均等な軸方向力を受け、球形ポンチ3を穴8に添
つて垂直に突出せしめる。即ち球形ポンチ3が穴
8の1方の側面に加圧されないようにすること
が、バーリング部7の破れや、偏肉を防止する上
で重要であり、そのために右プツシヤ4と左プツ
シヤ5は進行方向にそれぞれ先細りのテーパ面9
を有するが、同時にこのテーパ面は管体6の軸線
に対し対向して傾斜をさせてある。このように本
発明はバーリング部に破れや、偏肉を生じさせる
ことなく、小径パイプにパイプ径に近いバーリン
