Therefore, a slit-like thread holding groove with a narrow width but a large depth is provided along the circumferential direction near the end of the bobbin, and almost all of the thread holding groove or the front part in the rotational direction of the bobbin, and one side of the thread holding groove. There is a device proposed in Japanese Utility Model Application No. 107913/1983 in which concave thread guiding grooves are provided on both sides.
Although this prior art has greatly improved the ability to wind thread around a bobbin, the threads used have become thinner and thinner, creating a need for further improvements.

That is, for fine denier yarn, even if a conventional high denier or medium denier bobbin is used, the groove width is too wide and the yarn will fall out, making it impossible to securely hold the yarn.

The purpose of the present invention is to overcome the limitations of conventional bobbins, and to handle threads of medium denier (for example, 120 denier) as well as fine denier (for example, 70,
An object of the present invention is to provide an improved method for manufacturing a thread winding bobbin that can reliably hold even threads of 50 and 30 deniers.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a thread holding groove having a narrow opening along the circumferential direction of the end of the bobbin, and a predetermined portion of the thread holding groove facing the thread holding groove. A step of providing a yarn guiding groove on a wall surface that is sloped more gently than the yarn holding groove; and a step of forming a yarn guiding groove on at least one side of the yarn holding groove other than the portion where the yarn guiding groove is provided, facing the yarn holding groove at one or more places. The method is characterized by a step of narrowing the groove width of the yarn holding groove by pushing out the wall surface. Preferably, the yarn guiding groove, the yarn holding groove and the recess are formed by shallowly boring holes for batch winding. It is provided in a sagging groove.

As shown in FIG. 1, the thread winding bobbin 1 has a bunch groove 2 formed shallowly in the circumferential direction at its end. It has a guide groove 3 and a slit-shaped thread holding groove 4 communicating with the guide groove 3. Further, a plurality of recesses 5 are provided so as to span both sides of the thread holding groove 4. Note that the grooves 3 and 4 and the recess 5 need to be located at the end of the bobbin 1, and do not need to be located within the bunch groove 2, but it is preferable that they be grouped together within the bunch groove 2.

As shown in FIG. 2, the cross section of the recess 5 becomes shallower as it approaches the thread holding groove 4. Thread holding groove 4
Among them, the portion 4' where the recess 5 is located is pressed by the walls 5A and 5B of the recess 5 on both sides, and is narrower than usual. At locations other than the recess 5, the thread holding groove 4 has a normal width, as shown in FIG.

The recess 5 may be provided only on one side of the thread holding groove 4, as shown in FIG. In this case as well, the wall 5A of the recess 5 and the wall 4B of the thread holding groove 4

Note that to cut a slit like the thread holding groove 4, a cutter with a V-shaped cross section is generally used, but making the groove deep in order to increase the holding power even for fine denier threads is difficult for the bobbin. Unfavorable in terms of strength.

In order to create the recessed portion, the side wall of the thread holding groove 4 is pressed so that the bobbin has a shape that swells toward the groove as shown in the figure, that is, the slope is opposite to that of the thread guiding groove 3. portion is pushed out into the groove 4 and the groove becomes narrower. Since the width of the thread holding groove 4 is thus narrowed, it is possible to obtain the same effect as making the groove deeper while maintaining the bobbin strength. Furthermore, since the pressing force of the walls 5A, 5B can be adjusted depending on the depth of the recess 5, medium-denier and high-denier yarns can also be held in the yarn holding groove 4'.
To punch such a recess 5, for example, after cutting the thread holding groove 4, it is sufficient to press a punch curved inwardly into an arc shape.

As explained above, by using the bobbin obtained by the method of the present invention, even a fine denier thread can be reliably held by the thread holding groove 4' in the recess 5. Therefore, the threading rate can be improved.

Hereinafter, FIGS. 5 to 7 are explanatory diagrams sequentially showing the thread holding process by the thread winding bobbin. In FIG. 5, the thread 6 is traveling at a high speed in the direction of arrow F by suction or by a bobbin (not shown) that has previously finished winding. The illustrated bobbin 1 is a bobbin from which a thread 6 is gripped and wound, and its rotating direction is opposite to the traveling direction of the thread 6 at the position where it contacts the thread 6. In FIG. 6, the thread 6 caught on the bobbin 1 by the action of the thread guiding groove 3 and the thread holding groove 4 is accompanied by the bobbin 1, and the thread 6 beyond the position where it is gripped by the bobbin 1 is in the opposite direction to the traveling direction. A directional force acts, and as shown in FIG. 7, thread cutting is performed by tension or a cutting blade, and the main winding process begins. At this time, if the holding force of the thread holding groove 4 is weak, the thread will come off due to the tension acting on the thread, but in the bobbin 1 according to the method of the present invention, the holding force is increased by the narrowed groove width of the thread holding groove 4. Since this increases, the above-mentioned slip-off can be prevented. This effect is remarkable when holding thin threads that could not be held sufficiently by conventional thread holding grooves.

As described above, the method for manufacturing a bobbin for thread winding of the present invention is to press the bobbin so that both sides or one side of the thread holding groove bulge toward the groove to partially create a narrow groove portion, thereby guiding the thread. The thread that is guided by the groove and enters the holding groove is securely held by the narrowed portion, which has the effect that even a thin thread such as 30 denier can be held securely. .
