DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a die for a synthetic resin pelletizer. An example of a conventional synthetic resin pelletizer die is shown in FIG.
The die body 1 is provided with an inlet nozzle 2 and an outlet nozzle 3 having a smaller diameter than the inlet nozzle 2 concentrically therewith, and both are connected by a tapered hole 4. The surface of the outlet nozzle 3 on the opening side is a hardened layer 5. A jacket 6 for a heating medium is formed around the inlet nozzle 2 and the outlet nozzle 3.
The molten synthetic resin is forced into the inlet nozzle 2 by a pump, extruded through the tapered hole 4 and the outlet nozzle 3, and is cut into pellets by a rotating blade (not shown).

However, in the conventional synthetic resin pelletizer die as described above, a large pressure loss occurs when the molten synthetic resin passes through the inlet nozzle 2, the tapered hole 4, and the outlet nozzle 3. The value of pressure loss varies depending on the type of molten synthetic resin and the amount passed through, but it reaches 100 to 250 kg/cm 2 . For this reason, conventional dies for synthetic resin pelletizers suffer from large energy losses and are inefficient. Also, a large pressure loss means that the strength of the die body 1 must be increased to withstand this pressure loss, and for this purpose, the die body 1 must have a sufficient plate thickness l. Nakatsuta. However, as the plate thickness l increases, pressure loss increases accordingly.

The die body 11 according to the present invention is provided with a plurality of large-diameter inlet nozzles 12 that are open at one end and a large number of small-diameter outlet nozzles 13 that are open at the other end.
The inlet nozzle 12 and the outlet nozzle 13 communicate with a cavity 14 located between them. Note that since the positions of the central axis of the inlet nozzle 12 and the central axis of the outlet nozzle 13 are unrelated, the positions of the central axis of the inlet nozzle 1
2 can be made as large as possible, and the number of outlet nozzles 13 can be made as large as possible. A hardened layer 15 is formed on the surface of the outlet nozzle 13 on the opening side. A jacket 16 for a heating medium is formed around the inlet nozzle 12 and the outlet nozzle 13.

The molten synthetic resin forcibly fed from the inlet nozzle 12 by the pump first enters the cavity 14.
It is then extruded through the outlet nozzle 13 and cut into pellets by a rotary cutter (not shown). The pressure loss during this operation is very small compared to the conventional one for the following reasons. That is, since the diameter of the inlet nozzle 12 is large, the pressure loss at the inlet nozzle 12 is reduced, and since the molten synthetic resin is pooled in the cavity 14, the pressure loss is significantly reduced compared to the conventional tapered hole. The number of outlet nozzles 13 can be set arbitrarily and is greater than the conventional one, so pressure loss is reduced. Therefore, the die body 1
When the thickness l of the die is the same, the pressure loss of the synthetic resin pelletizer die according to the present invention is reduced to about 1/2 to 1/3 compared to the conventional die shown in FIG. Incidentally, since a reduction in pressure loss is advantageous in terms of strength, it is also possible to reduce the plate thickness l of the die body 11, thereby making it possible to further reduce pressure loss.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the plurality of inlet nozzles 12 opened at one end of the die body 11 of the die for synthetic resin pelletizer and the plurality of outlet nozzles 13 opened at the other end are arranged so that the central axis of both nozzles The nozzles are arranged so that the positional relationship and the number of both nozzles are independent of each other, the diameter of the inlet nozzle is larger than the diameter of the outlet nozzle, and the inlet nozzle 12 and the outlet nozzle 13 are communicated with a cavity 14 formed in the die body 11. As a result, pressure loss can be reduced and energy efficiency can be improved.
