Traditionally, this type of fusuma paper was used by printing each pattern separately and then combining the two sheets together, but with this printing method, each printing lot was different, so it was necessary to accurately match the colors of both sheets. It is almost impossible to do this, and subtle color differences are noticeable at the joints of the patterns, and
There was also the drawback that the process of packaging two sheets of fusuma paper, each printed separately, as a set required a lot of work.

A strip of base paper is fed along the outer circumferential surface of the impression cylinder, and while the impression cylinder rotates half a rotation, the blanket cylinder is pressed against the surface of the impression cylinder, and one of the images transferred onto the surface of the base paper is transferred to the base paper using a plate cylinder. The above-mentioned pattern is printed at a required location on the surface of the surface corresponding to one sliding sheet, and while the impression cylinder makes the remaining half rotation, the above-mentioned pattern is printed at a required location on the surface of the base paper following the aforementioned portion corresponding to one sliding sheet. It is characterized in that the other pattern, which forms one continuous pattern when combined horizontally, is printed using a blanket cylinder separate from the blanket cylinder.

Further, around this impression cylinder 1, three blanket cylinders 4, 5, 6 for printing one pattern and three blanket cylinders 7, 8, 9 for printing the other pattern are arranged, and each blanket cylinder There are three resin plate cylinders 10, 11, and 12, respectively.
They are arranged one by one. And each plate cylinder 10, 11,
12 includes a rubber ink roller 13 and a metal metering roller 14 for making the amount of ink adhered constant.
and is provided. As a result, each rubber cylinder 4,
5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, but as will be described later, the pattern of one sliding door is printed by blanket cylinders 4, 5, and 6, and the pattern of one sliding door is printed by blanket cylinders 7, 8, and 9.
As a result, the pattern on the other sliding door is printed, resulting in 9-color printing. Each of these blanket cylinders 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 has a diameter that is half the diameter of the impression cylinder 1, and rotates once in response to a half rotation of the impression cylinder 1. On the surfaces of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, a raised part 15 is formed over half the circumference, and a recessed part 16 is formed over the remaining half circumference. On the other hand, the strip-shaped base paper 17 to be printed is fed into the impression cylinder 1 while being guided by the guide roller 18, and printing is performed as follows while the impression cylinder 1 rotates once. Figures 2 to 5 show the impression cylinder 1 and the blanket cylinders 4, 5, 6, 7, when the impression cylinder 1 is rotated by 90 degrees.
8 and 9, the fusuma 1 of the base paper 17 is in contact with the surface of the raised portion 2 of the impression cylinder 1.
As shown in FIG. 2, three-color printing is first applied to the required portions of the sheet by the blanket cylinder 4.
While the raised portion 2 further advances as shown in FIG. 3, the blanket cylinders 5 and 6 print three colors each on the same area, and eventually the raised portion is printed while the impression cylinder 1 makes half a rotation. One of the patterns 19 is offset printed on the base paper 17 on the surface of the paper 2 by printing in 9 colors.
A raised part 3 is formed adjacent to the raised part 2, and this raised part 3 passes under three blanket cylinders 4, 5, and 6 arranged on the right side of the impression cylinder 1. Sometimes, each blanket cylinder is rotated so that the recess 16 faces toward the impression cylinder 1, so that during this time the base paper on the surface of the ridge 3 is exposed, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. is not printed. Similarly, when the raised part 2 passes under the three blanket cylinders 7, 8, 9 arranged on the left side of the impression cylinder 1, these cylinders turn their recesses 16 towards the impression cylinder 1. Since it is rotating, printing will no longer occur in this area. When the raised portion 3 passes under the blanket cylinders 7, 8, 9 as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 3 in the required places on the surface of the base paper that corresponds to one fusuma sheet following the part printed in steps 5 and 6.
Printed in different colors. The other pattern 20 printed at this time is laterally combined with the previously printed pattern 19 to form one continuous pattern, and in this way the impression cylinder 1 makes the remaining half rotation. In the meantime, the other pattern 20 will also be printed in nine colors. Note that the parts other than the raised parts 2 and 3 are the rubber cylinder 4,
5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, the impression cylinder 1
No printing is performed on these parts since they do not come into contact with the area. As described above, while the impression cylinder 1 makes one rotation, the strip-shaped base paper 17 is cut into a portion corresponding to one fusuma sheet and placed horizontally, as shown in FIG. Two patterns 19 and 20, which are combined to form one continuous pattern, are offset printed at adjacent positions. Blank area 2 in Figure 6
1 and 22 are the parts on the surface other than the raised parts 2 and 3 of the impression cylinder 1, and after printing, they are cut at the lines 24 and 24 to become two sheets of fusuma paper, and the part at the line 23 is cut at the line 23 during construction. Since the paper is cut into fusuma paper with patterns 19 and 20, the work of combining and packaging two sheets of fusuma paper with different patterns at the stage of shipping as a product can also be omitted.

るので高速印刷が可能となるなどの利点もある。 As explained in detail above, according to the method of the present invention, the pattern of one fusuma and the pattern of the other fusuma, which is combined horizontally with this pattern to form one continuous pattern, are mutually attached to the strip-shaped base paper. Since they are printed adjacent to each other and alternately, both designs are printed in the same lot and at the same time, which makes it possible to accurately display the colors of both designs, unlike the conventional method of printing them separately.
and can be very easily matched, so that two sheets of printed fusuma paper, each pasted separately, can be matched.
When the fusuma sheets are closed, a beautiful continuous pattern with no difference in color can be formed. In addition, according to the method of the present invention, no special effort is required for color matching of printing inks, so the extra work for color matching that is required in the conventional method can be omitted, and the operating rate of the printing press can be improved. can also be achieved. Furthermore, according to the method of the present invention, one impression cylinder having a circumference twice the length of the sliding door is used to print two continuous patterns during one rotation of the impression cylinder. As a result, the number of images printed is always the same, and there is no risk of overprinting only one side, making it easier to manage the amount of printing, and since there is only one impression cylinder, less space is required. Furthermore, since printing is performed continuously on the strip-shaped base paper while continuously rotating the impression cylinder, there is an advantage that high-speed printing becomes possible.
