位置Aを挟んでその左側には被加工物2のセツト
位置Bが、また右側には被加工物2の取出し位置
Cがそれぞれ設けられている。マルチ溶接機1は
基盤3上に固定され、搬送台車4はこの基盤3上
をX―Y方向へ往復動する。5,5は搬送台車4
に取付けられた車輪であり、6は搬送台車4をX
―Y方向へ駆動するためのシリンダ装置を示す。
そして、搬送台車4のY方向の先端部にはフオー
ク4aが一体的に取付けられ、このフオーク4a
上および搬送台車4上にはそれぞれ被加工物2を
支持するためのアタツチメント7,7,8,8が

設された乗換装置(図示せず。)によつて一時、
搬送台車4の上方に持上げられる。この状態にお
いて、空になつた搬送台車4を、逆作動するシリ
ンダ装置6に連動させて、同図中、実線位置まで
復帰させ、この復帰が完了すると前述の乗換装置
を作動させて、持上げられていた被加工物2をフ
オーク4a上のアタツチメント8,8上に乗せ換
える。して、アタツチメント7,7上には新たな
被加工物2がセツトされ、このセツトが完了する
と搬送台車4は再度Y方向に移動させられる。こ
うして、搬送台車4は同図中、想像線位置に停止
し、アタツチメント8,8上の溶接が完了した被
加工物2は取出し位置Cで取出され、また新たに
アタツチメント7,7上にセツトされた被加工物
2は加工位置Aで、マルチ溶接機1により溶接さ
れる。

ているにも拘わらず、アタツチメント7,7に対
する新たな被加工物2のセツトが完了するまで、
加工位置Aに止まることになり、被加工物2の加
工効率を十分に高めることができないという問題
を生ずる。

本発明の被加工物の搬入・搬出装置はそれぞれ
独立の駆動系によつて駆動させられる搬入台車と

によつて搬送されてきた被加工物を搬出台車に乗
せ換える乗換装置を搬入台車および搬出台車と別
個に設けて構成されている。すなわち、搬入台車
は被加工物のセツト位置と加工位置との間を往復
動し、また、搬出台車は加工位置と取出し位置と
の間を往復動する。そして、搬入台車によつて加
工位置に搬送されてきた被加工物は加工位置で停
止した搬入台車上で溶接等の加工を受け、この加
工が完了すると加工位置に配設された乗換装置に
よつて搬入台車の上方へ一時、持上げられる。こ
れによつて、搬入台車は空になるからセツト位置
まで復帰し、また乗換装置によつて持上げられた
被加工物の下方には取出し位置から移動してきた
搬出台車が停止する。そして、搬出台車には乗換
装置によつて支持されていた被加工物が乗せ換え
られ、被加工物を乗せた搬出台車は取出し位置ま
で移動する。この間に、搬入台車には新たな被加
工物をセツトし得るから、本発明装置によれば加
工後の被加工物の搬出・取出しと新たな被加工物
のセツトとを独立に並行して行なうことが可能と
なり、これによつて加工効率の大幅な向上を図り
得る。

付けられた車輪を示す。搬出台車13には、ま
