An indoor unit 8 having a well-known structure is installed inside the house, and a compressor 9 constituting a well-known refrigeration cycle is installed in the underfloor space 7. Furthermore, a condenser 1 for outdoor heat radiation constitutes a well-known refrigeration cycle together with the indoor unit 8 and compressor 9.
0 is attached by appropriate means including external wall fittings. Here, the indoor unit 8, compressor 9, and condenser 10 are connected to each other by refrigerant piping to form a well-known refrigeration cycle. 11
is a cover that covers the condenser 10, and its upper end is open toward the top, and its opening 12 extends to near the eaves 13. Therefore, infiltration of rainwater etc. is prevented. Further, the lower part of this cover 11 is connected to an opening 14 provided in the cloth foundation 1.

効果をあげている。 In the above configuration, the refrigerant discharged from the indoor unit 8 during the cooling operation of the air conditioner is compressed by the compressor 9 and reaches the condenser 10, where heat is radiated. Condenser 1
0 is provided in the space between the outer wall 3 and the cover 11 as described above, and as the temperature of the condenser 10 increases, the air in that space is heated and becomes an upward air current. As a result, the air in the underfloor space 7 flows from the opening 14 of the lower fabric foundation to the upper opening 12, and as the temperature of the condenser 10 increases, this phenomenon is promoted and the cooling effect of the condenser is improved. Note that since the temperature of the air in the underfloor space 7 is lower than that of outside air, the efficiency is better than direct cooling with outside air. Further, the compressor 9 provided in the underfloor space 7 is covered with a soundproofing material 15 to prevent noise, and the entire compressor 9 is surrounded by a box body 16 to achieve a soundproofing effect.

め省資源となる。 Therefore, the outdoor condenser 10 is cooled by using the rising airflow of heat generated from the condenser 10 without using an air blower, and also by using the chimney effect of the space constituted by the cover 11 and the outer wall 3. As a result, the condenser 10 can be cooled with the air in the underfloor space 7, which is lower than the outside air, resulting in good cooling efficiency. Also, since the compressor 9 and the like are installed using the underfloor space 7, the appearance of the outdoor side of the house is improved. Moreover, since it does not use a blower, it is quiet because there is no source of noise, and it also saves resources because it does not use functional parts such as a blower.

が行えるなど、種々の利点を有するものである。 As is clear from the above embodiments, the air conditioner of the present invention has a compressor that constitutes a refrigeration cycle installed under the floor of a house, and an outdoor heat exchanger that constitutes the refrigeration cycle together with the compressor. attached to the outer wall of the house, further covering the compressor with a box body equipped with a soundproofing material inside, and providing a cover covering the outdoor heat exchanger on the outer wall, and opening the upper end of the cover, The lower end is connected to the opening provided in the fabric foundation of the house to form a ventilation path within the cover, which uses the rising airflow of warm air generated by the heat generated by the outdoor heat exchanger to lower the temperature of the outside air. Since the outdoor heat exchanger is cooled with the air under the floor, the heat exchange efficiency is high, and natural convection is used to discharge the cooling air, so there is no need for a blower, etc., and quiet air conditioning is possible. It is cheaper, and since the compressor is installed under the floor and the outdoor heat exchanger is attached to the outside wall of the house, wasted space can be used effectively, the installation footprint is extremely small, and the vibration of the compressor, It has various advantages, such as less noise being transmitted to the outside by the box equipped with soundproofing material, and quieter air conditioning.
