FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the basic configuration of the device of the present invention, in which 1 is a central processing unit (CPU), 2 is a billing device connected to exchanges 4 for telephones 3, 3, etc. installed in each guest room. It has a built-in status storage means that stores the latest cabin status. 5 is a front display means installed at the front desk and displays the status of each guest room; 6 is a maid display means installed at a maid station where maids who clean the guest rooms are stationed; Display the status of each guest room. Incidentally, in order to increase the efficiency of the line and the efficiency of the front display means 5, the display means 5 selects the situation data from the front display means 5 to the maid display means 6, and displays information when there is a change in the guest room condition. A configuration is adopted in which only the received items are sent.

FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing details of the front display means 5 shown in FIG. 1. In the same figure, 10 converts the cabin status data in the serial signal format given from the billing device 2 into a parallel signal. The direct-to-parallel conversion circuit 11 is an input buffer circuit that temporarily stores cabin situation data in parallel signal format obtained from the conversion circuit 10. The guest room status data referred to here includes the guest room number and the status of the guest room, such as whether it is in use or has been cleaned. 12 is an arithmetic circuit that calculates a memory address based on the guest room number; 13 is a memory circuit that stores the guest room status with an address assigned to each guest room; the memory circuit is connected to the arithmetic circuit 12 via a read/write circuit 14 , and the contents of this memory circuit 13 are applied to a display circuit 15 and displayed. As shown in FIG. 3, this display circuit 15 has status display lamps 32, 32, . . . arranged corresponding to the guest room number plates 31, 31, . . . As shown in the figure, a red LED 33 and a blue LED 34 are enclosed, and the red LED 33 is turned on when the cabin is in use.
The blue LED 34 is turned on for rooms that have been cleaned, and which LED is turned on for empty rooms that have not yet been cleaned.
As an example, a configuration in which neither 33 nor 34 are lit can be considered. Reference numeral 16 indicates a memory buffer circuit for temporarily storing the guest room situation data read out from the memory circuit 13, and 17 indicates this memory buffer circuit 1.
A comparison circuit 18 compares the contents of the input buffer circuit 11 with the contents of the input buffer circuit 11, and a comparison circuit 18 compares the contents of the input buffer circuit 11 with the contents of the input buffer circuit 11 only when the contents of both buffer circuits 11 and 16 do not match as a result of the comparison in the comparison circuit 17. A data sending circuit for sending to the maid display means 6, 1
Reference numeral 9 denotes an initialization circuit that erases the contents of this front display means 5, specifically, all address storage contents of the memory circuit 13, that is, the state storage contents of all guest rooms, and returns to the initial state, when the power switch 20 is turned on. , and when the contents of a counter 21 that counts the number of arrivals of guest room status data from the charging device 2 provided to the input buffer circuit 10 reach a certain number.

Note that the guest room status data from the billing device 2 is applied to the front display means 5 sequentially at a constant cycle for each guest room, and is also applied to the memory circuit 1 in synchronization with this cycle.
The contents of 3 are sequentially read out to the memory buffer circuit 16.

Here, an example of guest room situation data will be given. As mentioned earlier, there are three statuses for a guest room: in use, vacant, and cleaning completed, so assign 2 bits to each room, and for example, assign 2 bits to each room. "00" is set, "10" indicates cleaning completion, and "11" remains as a redundant code.

Next, the operation of the device of the present invention will be explained. A certain guest room,
For example, when room 501 is in use, "01" is stored in the address corresponding to room 501 in the memory circuit 13 of the front display means 5. In this state, the red LED 33 of the display lamp 32 corresponding to room 501 of the display circuit 15 of the front display means 5 is lit. This state is also transmitted to the maid display means 6, which similarly lights up in red to indicate that it is in use. In this in-use state, even if the contents of the memory 13 are periodically read out to the memory buffer circuit 16, the status data obtained from the billing device 2 in synchronization with this matches, so the maid display is No data is transmitted to the means 6.

The status data of the room becomes "00", and the input buffer circuit 1 of the front display means 5 is sent via the charging device 2.
1, and the comparison circuit 17 compares it with the situation data “01” of room 501 read from the memory circuit 13. As a result of the comparison, both data do not match, so the situation data in the input buffer circuit 11 is changed to “00”. is transferred to the memory circuit 13, and the stored content corresponding to room 501 is rewritten to "00". At the same time, it is also transmitted to the maid display means 6 via the data sending circuit 18, and the status display lamp 32 of room 501 is turned off.

The maid at the maid station sees that the status indicator lamp 32 goes out and learns that room 501 has been checked out, and goes to clean it. After completing the designated cleaning, she uses the telephone 3 of room 501 to inform her of the fact. By transmitting the data to the billing device 2, the status data of room 501 becomes "10" indicating that cleaning has been completed, and this data "10" is different from "00" indicating an empty room that was previously stored in the memory circuit 13. "10" indicating that cleaning is complete is written in the address of room 501 in the memory circuit 13 in the same way as in the previous case, and the lamp 32 of the display circuit 15 is turned on in blue, and at the same time, this is also communicated to the maid display means of the maid station.

On the other hand, if the contents of the memory circuit 13 become unreliable due to a power outage or other reasons, the initialization circuit 19 is activated and the contents of all addresses in the memory circuit 13 are changed to the redundant code "11". rewrite.

Thereafter, as previously explained, the memory circuit 13
When comparing the contents of the data from the charging device 2 with the data from the charging device 2, the contents of the memory circuit 13 are all redundant code "11", so the comparison circuit 17 cannot always find a match, and the data from the charging device 2 is 13
The information is also transmitted to the maid display means 6, and the respective stored contents are rewritten to the latest data. Therefore, the display lamp of the display circuit 15 lights up in accordance with the new content.

Of course, the initialization circuit 19 is activated when the power goes down and then comes back on again.
It also operates when the contents of the counter 21 reach a certain number. This is to compensate for cases where data changes undesirably due to noise etc. during data transfer, and the contents of the memory circuit 13 are automatically cleared when the number of data transfers reaches a predetermined value. This is to ensure accuracy.

As is clear from the above description, the present invention is provided with an initialization circuit, and when the circuit is activated, the contents of the memory circuit are rewritten into a redundant code. Therefore, it is possible to correct the stored contents reliably and with high precision. At the same time, data transfer efficiency can also be improved.
