When making electrical contacts, a device is required to align and supply the electrical contact materials in a line toward the base material.
Furthermore, it is necessary to provide this alignment and supply device with a device for distinguishing between the front and back sides of the electrical contact materials. Furthermore, the electrical contact material is extremely small and must be accurately fed to the welding location, making the device extremely complex.

る。 The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and it is possible to accurately feed the electrical contact material with projection to the welding position with the base material without requiring an alignment supply device or a front/back discrimination device. Another object of the present invention is to provide an electrical contact strip material in which electrical contact materials with projections are formed and held at regular intervals.

A circular electrical contact material 5 having a ring projection 4 on the upper surface periphery is formed by punching at regular intervals using a circular punch 3 with a taper 2 on the periphery of the tip, as shown by the chain line, and pushing up as shown by the chain line. The electric contact material 5 is held in the punched hole 7 by the pushback of the pin 6, and the ring projection 4 is made to protrude from the punched hole 7.

If the material is fed horizontally through the material onto the lower electrode 10 of the resistance welding device 9, it will enter the underside of the base material 11 that has been sent to the resistance welding device 9 separately. When the electrical contact material 5 with the ring projection 4 is located at the center of the base material 11, the upper electrode 12 is lowered, the base material 11 is pressed against the ring projection 4, and the current is concentrated on the ring projection 4. flow, and the electrical contact material 5 is connected to the base material 11.
Projection welding is performed. In this case, continuous projection welding is possible if the interval between the electrical contact materials 5 with ring projections 4 held on the electrical contact strip 1 is equal to or greater than the pitch of the base material 11. be.

The foremost punched hole 7 from which the electrical contact material 5 has been removed is used as a pilot for feeding the electrical contact strip material 1 into the resistance welding device 9 and for towing the electrical contact strip material 1' for scrapping after the electrical contact material 5 has been removed. be done.

As a result, the electrical contact material 5 is automatically removed from the punched hole 7 of the electrical contact strip material 1, and the electrical contact 14, in which the base material 11 and the electrical contact material 5 are joined, is housed in a box 13 installed in front of the roll 12. be done. After the electrical contact material 5 has been removed, the electrical contact strip material 1' for scrapping can be compacted by hooking the punched hole 7 to the protrusion 16 of the drum 15 and winding it up on the drum 15. Of course, in this case, the ring projection of the electrical contact material 5 is formed on the side opposite to the contact surface. Further, although the electrical contact member 5 with the ring projection 4 has a flat circular shape, it may also have a spherical shape that is not flat, or a prismatic shape that is not circular. Furthermore, the electrical contact material 5 with the ring projection 4 may be formed and held on the electrical contact strip material 1 in the opposite manner to the above. That is, the ring projection 4 of the electrical contact material 5 may protrude from the lower surface of the electrical contact strip material 1. In this case, table material 1
1 is supplied to the underside of the electrical contact strip 1.

The base material 11 for joining is not limited to a terminal material of a certain length, but may be a strip-shaped base material.
In this case, the strip-shaped base material is fed parallel to the electrical contact strip material 1, and the intermittent feeding speed is increased several times, so that the electrical contact material 5 with ring projection 4 is placed on the strip-shaped base material at required intervals. Immediately after joining, the band-shaped base material and the electrical contact strip material 1 are passed through a pair of upper and lower rolls, respectively, and the electrical contact material 5 with the ring projection 4 joined to the band-shaped base material is punched out of the electrical contact strip material 1. After removing it from the hole 7, the strip-shaped base material is cut into a fixed length for each electrical contact material 5, and the electrical contact strip material 1' for scrapping is preferably wound on a drum as described above.

接点材と台材との接合を行うことができる。 As can be seen from the above description, in the electrical contact strip material of the present invention, the electrical contact material having projections is formed by punching at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction, and is held in the punched hole by a push back. By feeding this electrical contact strip material horizontally, the electrical contact material with projection can be fed to the required welding position at a constant pitch. In other words, since the electrical contact strip material can be used as a feed lead for the electrical contact material with projection, there is no need for an alignment supply device or front/back discrimination device for feeding the electrical contact material with projection into the required welding position. Further, as mentioned above, since the electrical contact material with projection can be fed horizontally, it is not welded tilted during projection welding with the base material, so that highly accurate electrical contacts can be manufactured. In addition, during welding, the electrical contact material with projection is held and positioned in the punched hole of the electrical contact strip material, so it is not necessary to process the electrical contact material with projection to position it on the pressing surface of the electrode as in the conventional method. is not necessary. Moreover, as described above, since the electrical contact material with projection is fed horizontally, the pressing surface of the electrode contacts the contact surface of the electrical contact material and the back surface of the base material in parallel. Therefore, since the electrodes are not worn unevenly, the electrical contact material with projection and the base material can be joined to each other while maintaining parallelism at all times.

It has a number of excellent effects, such as being able to separate the electrical contact strip material from the electrical contact material and making it possible to collect scraps in a compact manner by winding up the electrical contact strip material after the electrical contact material has been detached onto a drum.
