[Prior art and its problems] Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, the method for manufacturing this decorative tile involves injecting dry glass into a recess 1b surrounded by a dike 1a provided at the periphery of the surface of a tile base 1. After supplying the powder 2 and flattening the surface of the glass powder 2 with a tokaki 3, it is fired to obtain a decorative tile 4 as shown in FIG. In addition, as another manufacturing method, as shown in FIG. 5, a slurry-like glass powder 2' is poured into the recess 1b of the tile base 1,
After drying, it is fired to obtain a decorative tile 4 as shown in FIG. However, each of the above manufacturing methods has the following drawbacks.

○B In the method using dry glass powder 2 shown in Fig. 4, it is necessary to take the trouble of removing the glass powder 2 adhering to the surrounding bank 1a, and the glass powder 2 filled into the recess 1b is scattered. It was necessary to take great care to transport the material to the firing process to prevent it from occurring, resulting in extremely low manufacturing efficiency.

○C In both of the above manufacturing methods, glass powder 2,
2' shrinks, the surface of the glass layer 4c of the obtained decorative tile 4 becomes lower than the surface of the dam 4a, as shown in FIG. 6, and the surfaces of the glass layer 4c and the dam 4a are flush with each other. I couldn't get any decorative tiles.

[Structure of the Invention] The gist of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a decorative tile having a glass surface layer, in which an enclosed surface surrounded by a dike provided at the periphery of the surface is directed from the center of the enclosed surface toward the dike. A tile base with a radially downward slope and a glass body of a desired size obtained by pressure molding a mixture of glass powder and a binder are prepared, and the center of the surrounding surface of the tile base and the glass body are The glass body is placed on the surrounding surface of the tile base so that the center of the back surface coincides with the center of the back surface, and then fired.

With this configuration, by simply placing a glass element of a desired size on the surrounding surface of the tile base and firing, the softened fluid glass is guided radially downward to the surrounding surface. The softened glass diffuses and flows toward the surrounding embankment, filling the space surrounded by the surrounding embankment, making it possible to obtain a decorative tile in which the cooled and hardened glass surface layer is flush with the surface of the surrounding embankment, as well as improving manufacturing efficiency. will improve dramatically.

In FIGS. 1A and 1B, 5 is a tile base.
The tile base 5 has peripheral banks 5 provided on the four peripheral edges of the surface.
The surrounding surface 5b surrounded by the surrounding surface 5b is formed with a downward slope (preferably 1/20 or more) from the center of the surrounding surface 5b toward the periphery. The inner surface 5a' of the surrounding bank 5a has a downward slope (preferably 1/13 or more) toward the surrounding surface 5b, if necessary, and a glass component with poor wettability is used for the glass body 6, which will be described later. In this case, by reducing the contact angle between the softened glass and the inner surface 5a' during firing, the peripheral wall 7 of the tile 7 shown in FIG.
a and the surface of the glass surface layer 8 are formed continuously. Note that the tile base 5 may be manufactured by a known molding method and calcined in advance.

The dry glass body 6 placed on the surrounding surface 5a of the tile base 5 has a desired size that can fill the space surrounded by the dam 5a of the tile base 5 when softened. In addition, the shape of the bottom surface 6a is made to approximately match the shape of the surrounding surface 5b of the tile substrate 5, and the center of the surrounding surface 5b of the tile substrate 5 and the back surface 6a of the glass substrate 6 are formed. When placed with the center of
b and 6a are in close contact with each other to maintain a stable mounting state. Although the method for manufacturing the dry glass body 6 is not shown, transparent or colored glass 100
After wet-pulverizing PVA single and heavy parts with a high weight part and degree of polymerization, and an appropriate amount of pigment if necessary, in a pot mill, drying to a moisture content of about 7%, the obtained powder is press-molded into a desired shape. . Note that the glass component of the glass body 6 is an appropriate one such as a boric acid type, and the coefficient of linear expansion is set to be the same as that of the tile base 5 from the viewpoint of preventing penetration.

The glass body 6 is placed on the surrounding surface 5b of the tile base 5 prepared in advance with or without an adhesive layer (not shown) made of PVA or the like. Next, the tile base 5 on which the glass body 6 is placed is fired at a temperature higher than the softening temperature of the glass constituting the glass body 6 (eg, 585° C. or higher). During the firing process, when the softening temperature is reached, the glass body 6 becomes fluidized, and the fluidized glass (not shown) is guided by the surrounding surface 5b having a radial downward slope and toward the surrounding banks 5a, 5a... It flows and diffuses and reaches each inner surface 5a' of all the circumferences 5a, 5a, . . . . Next, when it is slowly cooled, the decorative tile 7 shown in FIG. 3 is obtained.

In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, the planar shape of the tile base 6 is square (for example, B=30.9
mm), and each circumferential wall 5a is gently curved outward (for example, when A=33.3 mm, δ=0.5 mm). This allows the fluidized glass that has reached the softening temperature to reach each inner surface 5a' of all the peripheral banks 5a, 5a, etc. almost simultaneously, and prevents the curvature of the peripheral banks 5a, 5a, etc. due to the difference in arrival time. This is to prevent this phenomenon. The method of making the fluidized glass reach the inner surfaces 5a' of all the surrounding banks 5a, 5a, etc. at the same time is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and although not shown, it is possible to In addition to the state,
Of course, it is also possible to give the glass body 6 a predetermined external shape by, for example, gently curving one side of the outer surface of the glass body 6.
