に起すと、チエン9,9は図面第6図に示す様に
〓形に変形して丸太材を安定的に支承するから、
この状態においてモータ13により一対のチエン
9,9を挽材を回転したい方向へ回すと、挽材は
チエン9,9の回転により図面第7図り示す様に
希望方向へ回転される。この回転により挽材の挽
きたい位置が帯鋸(図面には示してない)に正対
する様になつたらチエン9,9を止め、昇降手段
14により昇降ベース7を下降させて、チエン
9,9に支持される挽材を図面第8図に示す様に
摺動台4上へ降し、木材支持筐5を繰出して挽材
の背部に当て、図面第9図に示す様に挽材に木掴
み6,6を打込み、挽材が木材支持筐5に支持さ
れゝば、挽材に合せて各木材支持筐5を図面第1
0図に示す様に個別操作し、希望する挽線を帯鋸
の延長線に一致させてから、一対のチエン9,9
を起伏手段12,12により図面第11図に示す
様に水平に戻し、摺動台4の摺動面よりも下方に
位置させて木材支持筐5を繰り出し、挽材の希望
挽線を帯鋸に合せて送材車1を前進させれば、挽
材は図面第12図に示す様に第1図を挽かれる。
こうして第1面の挽割りが終れば、一対のチエン
9,9を水平状態のまま摺動台4の摺動面よりも
上方に移動させ、木材支持筐5の後退に連動して
後退方向へ同じ速さで回転させると、挽材は図面
第13図に示す様に摺動台4の中央部へ戻される
から、このとき木掴み6,6と挽材から抜き、図
面第14図において左側のチエン9を垂直に起し
て挽材の挽面に当てた後、一対のチエン9,9を
連動的に図面第15図において左方へ回転させる
と、挽材は一対のチエン9,9に挾まれて挽面が
下になる様に90゜回転される。そこで図面第15
図に示す様に直立した右側のチエン9を第16図
に示す様に水平に倒してから、挽材に木掴み6,
6を打ち、挽材が木材支持筐5に支持されたら、
一対のチエン9,9を図面第17図に示す様に摺
動台44の摺動面よりも下方に下げ、木材支持筐
5を繰り出して次の希望する挽線を帯鋸に合せて
送材車を前述させれば、挽材は第2面を挽かれて
第18図の状態となる。このときは水平チエン
9,9を摺動台4の摺動面よりも上方へ位置さ
せ、水平チエン9,9を木材支持筐5の後退に連
動して後退方向へ回転させると、挽材は図面第1
9図に示す様に摺動台4の中央部へ戻される。そ
こで挽材から木掴み6,6を抜き、図面第20図
に示す様に左側のチエン9を直立させ、これを挽
材の第2の挽面に当ててチエン9,9を連動的に
左方へ90゜回転されると、挽材は第21図に示す
様に第2の挽面が下になる様に転回されるので、
このとき右側のチエン9を図面第22図に示す様
に水平に戻し、木掴み6,6を挽材に打つてチエ
ン9,9を摺動台4の摺動面よりも下方へ下げれ
ば、挽材は木材支持筐5に支持されるので、チエ
ン9,9を図面第23図に示す様に摺動台4の摺
動面下に下げ、木材支持筐5を繰出して第3の挽
線を帯鋸に合せて送材車1を前進させると、挽材
は第3面を挽かれる。こうして第3面の挽割りを
終れば、水平チエン9,9を摺動台4の摺動面上
に上げ、これらのチエン9,9を木材支持筐5の
後退方向へこれと同じ速さで回転させると、挽材
は図面第25図に示す様に摺動台4の中央部へ戻
されるので、挽材から木掴み6,6を抜き、図面
第26図に示す様に左側のチエン9を直立させて
挽材の第3の挽面に当て、チエン9,9を左方へ
連動回転させると挽材は図面第27図に示す様に
第3の挽面が下になる様に転回されて第4の挽線
を帯鋸に合せる。従つて、このとき右側のチエン
9を第28図に示す様に倒して挽材に木掴み6,
6を打ち、木材支持筐5へ固定して、チエン9,
9を摺動台4の摺動面より下側へ下げた後、木材
支持筐5を繰出して第4の挽線を帯鋸に一致させ
て送材車1を前進させれば、挽材は第4面を挽か
