Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は軟質ゴムとナイロン―6等のポリア
ミド樹脂材とからなるシールパツキンの製造方法
に関するものである。
従来機械等で単に締め寄せるだけの合わせ目に
ゴムパツキンを使用する場合、分解時にパツキン
を外そうとすると破れたり傷ついたりして使用不
能になる場合が多いので、第1図に示す如く軟質
ゴム材1aの周囲をプラスチツク材2で囲んだ形
式のパツキンがあつた。又第2図の如きねじ込み
形式のキヤツプ部分に円環状のゴムパツキン1b
を使用する場合、キヤツプ3とゴムパツキン1b
との接触抵抗が大きいので、キヤツプ3をボデー
4にねじ込んで締め付ける場合、ゴムパツキン1
bにしわが生じたりずれたりすることが多く、シ
ール作用が不完全になる点があつた。
この発明はかかる事情に鑑みてなされたもので
あり、軟質ゴム材とポリアミド樹脂材とを加硫接
着するシールパツキンの製造方法を提供すること
により、上記の欠点を改善せんとするものであ
る。
以下第3図以下を参照して本発明の実施例を詳
細に説明する。なお、図中従来例と対応する部分
は同一符号を付して説明する。第3図及び第4図
はこの発明のシールパツキンの製造方法を示す説
明図であるが、2aはナイロン―6等のポリアミ
ド樹脂材で第2シールパツキンを形成し、1cは
未加硫の軟質ゴム材で第1シールパツキンを形成
している。そしてポリアミド樹脂材2aと軟質ゴ
ム材1cの合わせ面両面に後述する接着液を塗布
し、第3図の如く接着面7を合わせ、第4図の如
く型5,6間に入れて120〜160℃で加温しつつ圧
力を加え、所定時間加硫するものである。1cの
軟質ゴムはN.R(Natural rubber)、S.B.R
(styrene―butadiene rubber)等汎用ゴム全般が
使用できる。前記の接着液であるが、この配合は
接着されるゴム材質と同系統の未加硫ゴム材をメ
チルエチルケトン類等の溶剤に希釈し、デスモジ
ユールR等のポリイソシアネート系の接着剤を適
量加えたものである。ポリイソシアネート系接着
剤はゴムとポリアミド樹脂間の結合力を強める作
用を持つもので、ポリイソシアネート系化合物の
代表例を下記に示す。
−N=C=Oがイソシアネート基と称されるも
のである。ポリイソシアネート系の接着剤には次
の如きものを含め多数のメーカーで製造販売され
ている。
デスモジユールR(住友バイエル社) タケラツク、タケネート(武田薬品工業) ニツセツ(日本カーバイド工業) サンダイン(日本ゴム) 以下にS.B.Rの第1のパツキンとナイロン―6
の第2パツキンとの加硫接着強度の関係を実験し
た実施例を第6図ないし第10図に示すが、S.B.
Rの代りにN.Rを使用した結果も大差がなかつた
ので省略する。第6図は加硫接着温度を示すもの
で、縦軸の強度はこの実験の最強度の場合を100
%に表示(第7図ないし第9図も同じ)したもの
で、加硫接着時間30分、同圧力100Kg/cm2、接着
剤塗布量100g/m2で実施した結果、最適条件130
〜150℃、実用領域120〜160℃を示している。第
7図は加硫接着時間を示すもので、加硫接着温度
140℃、同圧力100Kg/cm2、接着剤塗布量100g/
m2で実施した結果、最適条件20〜30分、実用領域
10分以上を示している。第8図は加硫接着圧力を
示すもので、加硫接着温度140℃、同時間20分、
接着剤塗布量100g/m2で実施した結果、最適条
件100Kg/cm2以上、実用領域60Kg/cm2以上を示し
ている。第9図は接着剤塗布量を示し、スプレー
またははけ塗りによるものであるが、加硫接着温
度140℃、同時間20分、同圧力100Kg/cm2、接着ゴ
ム分20〜30重量%で実施した結果、最適条件100
〜150g/m2、実用領域70〜220g/m2を示してい
る。第10図はデスモジユールRの接着剤への配
合量を示すもので、加硫温度140℃、同時間20
分、同圧力100Kg/cm2、接着剤塗布量100g/m2
実施した結果、最適条件2〜6重量%、実用領域
2〜10重量%、10重量%以上は接着剤の粘稠化が
大となり、接着剤のゴムがすぐ固まつてしまうの
で接着剤として使用できなかつた。
以上詳細に説明した如くこの発明によれば、弾
性のみを使用したゴムパツキンにくらべ、ゴムと
プラスチツクとを合わせて強固に接着した構造に
できるので、ゴムの弾性にプラスチツクの靭性、
摩擦係数の僅少さ等が加わる。機械等の合せ目に
用いる単に締め寄せて使用する従来の第1図の如
きパツキンの場合は、周囲をプラスチツクで囲ん
であるので、プラスチツクの成形等の工数がかか
り製作コストが高くなり、厚さを薄くできず、シ
ール性が悪く、ゴム硬度を自由に選べなかつた
が、この発明の製造方法によるシールパツキンは
第3図の如き構成となり、コストが安く、ゴムの
硬度が変つても加硫接着するだけですむので薄く
作ることができ、シール性がよいものである。又
第5図の如くねじ込み形式のキヤツプに使用する
場合、プラスチツク表面とキヤツプ面との接触部
8がすべりながら軟質ゴム材1cが圧縮されるの
で、パツキンにしわが生じたり、ずれたりするこ
とがない。其の他パツキン以外に使用した場合も
ゴムとプラスチツクとが接着されて一体となつた
構造により両者の長所を発揮することができる。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 未加硫の軟質ゴム材と同系統の未加硫ゴム材
    とを溶剤にて希釈し、これにポリイソシアネート
    系の接着剤を適量加えた接着液を未加硫の上記軟
    質ゴム材により形成された第1パツキンとポリア
    ミド樹脂材により形成された第2パツキンの接着
    面に塗布した後、120℃〜160℃の温度で加圧し、
    加硫して成形することを特徴とするシールパツキ
    ンの製造方法。
