Letterpress printing is currently changing from the conventional printing method using typesetting to printing using resin plates. To print with this resin plate, first, a block is created based on the manuscript, a film is created from this block by photolithography, and then a resin plate is created based on this film.
This resin plate is attached to a metal base attached to a printing machine and printed. Therefore, the complexity of typesetting, typesetting, revision, and reprinting can be avoided, but it is extremely difficult to accurately attach the resin plate to the metal base that has been set in the machine in advance.

In other words, it is difficult even for a skilled craftsman to affix a number of resin plates, such as a copying slip, to the position of the first plate and then affix the next plate without any deviation. The current method of setting a resin plate is to visually align the printed surface of the resin plate, such as the frame lines and fonts, with the grid-like lines engraved on the metal base (applying table), horizontally and vertically. The resin plate was affixed using spray glue or double-sided adhesive tape, etc. after determining the position of the plate.

However, as shown in Figure 1, the resin plate has a certain height from the bottom surface A of the resin plate to the top surface B of the resin plate, which corresponds to the printing surface (convex surface). The operator's eyes must be positioned on the extension of the straight line connecting grid line C and printing surface B, as it is necessary to look through the plate and align the printed surface with grid line C of the metal base below. No. However, the operator's eyes may deviate from the extension of the straight line, the printed surface may not always be a thin line, and in some cases it may be thick, or there may be no standard. Glue or double-sided adhesive tape is attached to the back of the resin plate, which makes it difficult to see through and judge, and even more so, it is difficult to judge by looking through it. The only way to replace the next plate was to rely solely on experience and intuition.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. When creating a block copy 1 based on a manuscript, two or more than two holes may be punched at any location in the margin of the manuscript. A business seal 2 will be provided. or,
The perforation mark 2 may be a figure drawn, or the negative film may be overlaid and holes may be made integrally with a perforator, and the opening edge of each hole may be used as a mark. The shape of the perforation mark may be circular, triangular, quadrangular, etc., and the shape is not limited. Then, this block copy is created on the source negative film 3 by photolithography, and then the perforation mark 2 is left on the source negative film, and the original part is replaced with another original as needed, and the second and third copies are made. Negative films 3a, 3b are prepared, and resin plates 4, 4a, 4a, 3b are made from these negative films 3, 3a, 3b, respectively.
Create 4b.

Then, the same hole 5 is made in each of the resin plates 4, 4a, 4b at the hole marking 2 using a tool.
Next, the resin plate 4 provided with the holes 5 is attached to a predetermined position of the metal base X set in advance in a printing machine, and the resin plate 4 is printed. After printing is completed, slightly peel off the edge of the resin plate 4 on the side with the holes 5, and remove the holes 5.
Fit the protrusion 6a of the pin 6 from the bottom of the resin plate,
The pin 6 and the peeled portion of the resin plate are returned to the metal base X again. The pin 6 consists of a protrusion 6a having a diameter that matches the hole 5, and a thin support plate 6b on which the protrusion 6a is placed. The support plate 6b is temporarily fixed to the metal base X with an adhesive tape 7, etc., and printed on it. When attaching the next resin plate 4a with the pins 6 fixed to the metal base Attach the resin plate 4a to the metal base X under tension, peel off the hole part of 4a a little, remove the pin 6 fixed to the metal base X, and peel off the part of 4a near the hole 5. Completely paste and print on Metal Base X. (Hereinafter, the same applies to any number of sheets.) According to this invention, when attaching a resin plate to the metal base It can be pasted on X, and another negative film can be created based on the source negative film 3 (if it is replaced with a copy, create a negative film with perforation marks placed in the same position) The position of the reservoir hole 5 is the same on each resin plate, and there are two holes, or in some cases, three holes, so accuracy is high. It is sufficient to use the resin plate pasting device (Utility Application No. 1983-93020) that the applicant has already applied for.
The resin plate can be applied extremely easily and quickly, and even beginners can accurately apply and reapply the resin plate, producing beneficial effects.

1. When creating a block copy based on a manuscript, there are a step of making a plurality of perforation marks at arbitrary locations in the margin of the manuscript, a step of creating the block copy on a source negative film by photolithography, and then The process of leaving the perforation marks on the source negative film and replacing the original part with another original as necessary to create second and third negative films, and when replacing the original negative film, the perforation marks are left on each part of the original negative film. There is a process of creating a negative film by placing both plates in the same place, a process of creating a resin plate from each of these negative films, and a process of drilling holes using the convex surface made by the perforation mark of these resin plates as a base point. There is a step of making a hole in the resin plate, a step of pasting and printing the resin plate in a predetermined position on a metal base set in a printing machine, and then a process of peeling off the edge of the resin plate on the side where the hole was made a little and removing the resin plate. Insert a pin into the hole from below, return this peeled part to the metal base together with the pin, and temporarily fix the pin to the metal base.
The process of peeling off the resin plate after printing, and when attaching the resin plate to be printed next, it is latched to the protrusion of the pin and attached to the metal base in a tensioned state, and the edge of the side where the hole is made is attached. A method for attaching a resin plate in letterpress printing, characterized by a combination of the steps of slightly peeling off the pins, removing the pins, and reattaching the peeled edges.
