DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for tying yarns, and more particularly to a method for tying yarns in such a way that the knots do not come undone even when pulled before cutting, and the knots loosen and become the original yarns after cutting.

Even in the case where the roving is used after being cut, it is industrially necessary to continuously cut the roving in preform, spray-up, SMC manufacturing, etc. When performing this continuous cutting operation, the roving must be continuously supplied without interruption. Therefore, a large number of roving packages must be tied together beforehand. For this purpose, it is usually necessary to tie one end (end) of one roving to the other end (tip) of the next roving, but up until now, a normal knot called the so-called top knot has been used to tie this knot. It had the following undesirable drawbacks.

That is, when the roving is cut with the above-mentioned top knot, in many cases, the knot does not come undone and is mixed into the resin as it is and enters the product. This leaves defects in the reinforced plastic molding.

A device invented to improve the above-mentioned defect is to branch one roving into two, combine one branched roving with a separate roving, and intertwine it with the other branched roving. . and,
The tip of each thread was threaded through a wafer formed at the end of a separate roving. Therefore, sufficient binding can be achieved while the tension is applied, but slack may occur when multiple connected roving package cages are piled up and packed, and the roving is re-stacked during cutting. It had the disadvantage that when it was pulled, the strings came undone and the binding came undone.

As a result of various studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the inventor of the present invention found that, in the method of tying one end of one thread to one end of the other thread, the tip side of one thread is divided into two. A branched yarn is formed, and this branched yarn and the other yarn are entangled and tied, and both branched yarns on the tied tip side and the other yarn are aligned to form a bundled yarn, and this bundled yarn is The leading end of one thread is passed through a connecting wafer made by joining the end of the other thread alone or with part of a branched thread two or more times to form a tangled part. The present invention has been proposed based on the discovery that a yarn binding method characterized by the above method prevents the yarn from loosening.

To explain the first embodiment of the present invention using the roving shown in FIG. 1 as an example, the tip side of the roving 1 of one roving package A is branched from a branch point 2 to form branched yarns 1' and 1''. Then, make an insertion ring 3 with one branched yarn 1' so that the tip side is located on the upper side in the figure, and insert the other branched yarn 1'' into this insertion ring 3 from the upper side to the lower side so that it is entangled. do.

Incidentally, the entanglement between the bifurcated yarns 1', 1'' and the roving 4 is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and is described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 49-41494, Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-16743, Japanese Patent Publication No. 54

In the above embodiment, it was explained that the bundled yarn 5 is entwined with the yarn 4 twice, but after the bundled yarn 5 is entwined with the yarn 4 once, the bundled yarn 5 that forms the thread 7 is twisted once.
It can be twisted around.

Next, the second embodiment will be explained based on FIG.
The bundled yarn 5 formed in the same manner as in the first embodiment is twisted twice in the longitudinal direction on the end side of the roving to form a tangled part 6 to form a binding strand 7, and the tangled part The bundled yarn 5 located at the tip end side of the bundled yarn 5 is inserted and bound.

Next, the third embodiment will be explained based on FIG.
The end sides of the rovings 4 are crossed so as to form a binding strand 7, and the opposite side of the roving 4 is intertwined twice to prevent it from unraveling to form a tangled part 6. The ends of the strips 5 are passed through so as to be entwined and tied.

In each of the embodiments, the tangled part 6 was described as being tangled twice, but it may be tangled any number of times as long as it is twice or more.

In the present invention, as in each of the above-mentioned embodiments, the other yarn end side or the bundled yarn is joined and twisted twice to form a binding strand, and the bundled yarn is passed through the binding strand. Since it is tightened, even if the tension is not applied due to the twice-tangled portion and the binding is loosened, the binding will not come undone.

Therefore, even if the threads become loose when stacking the package cages, there is no risk of them becoming unraveled.
