Conventionally, a base material 1 having an embossed pattern on its surface is used, and the base material 1 is coated with color shading. When applying such two-tone makeup with light and shade of color, a base paint is first applied as a base coat to the surface of the base material 1 to form a base coat 2, and then a top coat is applied to the surface of the base coat 2. Painting is done by forming a surface coating film 3 by applying a color clear surface paint, but conventionally, the surface paint is applied to the concave portion at the end of the protrusion 4 as shown in FIG. 5, and the surface coating film 3 is formed at the end position of the protrusion 4.
The thickness of the surface coating film 3 is made thinner, and the shade of the color is expressed by changing the thickness of the surface coating film 3. That is, the color of the base coating film 2 is made white so that the color of the white base coating film 2 can be seen through the thin part of the surface coating film 3, and the film thickness is adjusted so that the white color of the base coating film 2 can be seen through. In the thin areas, the surface coating film 3 is expressed in a light color, and the base coating film 2 is
In thick areas where the white color cannot be seen through, the surface coating film 3 is expressed in a dark color, thereby expressing the shade of color.

In order to prevent the color of the base material 1 from affecting this expression, it is necessary to reliably conceal the base material 1 with the base coat 2, and therefore the base coat 2 must be coated in at least two layers. It is necessary to increase the overall thickness of the base coating film 2 by increasing the thickness of the base coating film 2, which increases the cost.Furthermore, the thickness of the surface coating film 3 is made thinner at the ends of the protrusions 4 to improve the lightness and darkness of the color. In order to express this, a problem arises in that the waterproofness deteriorates at the end position of the protrusion 4 where the surface coating film 3 is thin.

When this is applied to the base material 1, much of the base paint 7 ends up being impregnated into the base material 1 as shown in FIG. 4a. Therefore, in order to ensure the hiding property of the base material 1 by the base coating film 2 of the base paint 7, it is necessary to
Apply it as shown in Figure 4a and apply the base paint 7.
After preventing the base material 1 from being impregnated with the base material 1, it is necessary to apply a second layer of base paint 7 on top of this as shown in FIG. In this respect as well, it is necessary to increase the thickness of the base coating film 2 by overcoating two or more layers.

より詳述する。[Disclosure of the Invention] According to the coating method according to the present invention, the base paint 7 is applied to the surface of the base material 1 in a preheated state having an uneven surface, and the base paint film 2 is formed on the protrusion 4. It is characterized by forming a thick base coating film 2 at the same time as forming a thin base coating film 2 in the recessed portion 5, and then applying a surface paint to the surface of this base coating film 2 to form a surface coating film 3 having a uniform thickness. Preheating the base material 1 prevents the base paint 7 from impregnating the base material 1, and the difference in the thickness of the base coat 2 between the protrusions 4 and the recesses 5 reduces the influence of the color of the base material 1 on the base coat. Even if the color shading is made to appear as a difference in the light and shade of the film 2, and this shading is further influenced on the surface coating film 3 to create two-tone makeup, the above purpose can still be achieved. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to Examples.

のである。 As the base material 1, an inorganic board such as an asbestos cement board is mainly used, and the surface of the base material 1 is provided with a large number of irregularities as an embossed pattern. And base material 1
A base paint 7 is applied as a base coat to the surface of the base material 1, but the base paint 7 has a color different from the base color of the base material 1,
For example, a material colored white, which is a lighter color than the base material 1, is used. In the present invention, the base material 1 is preheated before applying the base paint 7, and this preheating is performed by heating the base material 1 so that the board temperature is 40° C. or higher. Therefore, the effect of preheating is low below 40°C, and conversely, the effect of preheating does not change much even when it greatly exceeds 40°C. When applying the base paint 7, the base paint 7 is first applied only to the surface of the protrusion 4 in the recess. This coating can be carried out using a roll coater 8 as shown in FIG. 2a. Next, a base paint 7 is evenly applied to both the protrusions 4 and the recesses 5. This application is shown in Figure 2b.
This can be done using a flow coater 9 as shown in FIG. By preheating the base material 1 before applying the base paint 7 in this way, when the base paint 7 comes into contact with the base material 1, the solvent such as thinner in the base paint 7 is evaporated and the base paint 7 is heated. The viscosity is increased, the amount of base paint 7 impregnated into the base material 1 can be reduced, and the base paint film 2 can be formed with a small amount of base paint 7 without the need for overcoating. It is something that becomes. In addition, when applying the base paint 7, by applying it to the protrusions 4 and then to the protrusions 4 and recesses 5, the thickness of the base coat 2 due to the base paint 7 can be increased. is formed to be thicker in the protrusion 4 and thinner in the recess 5. In particular, by applying the base paint 7 to the protrusion 4 using the roll coater 8 as described above, the base paint is formed on the protrusion 4. 7
The coating is done by pushing the base paint 7 into the base material 1, and the effect as a filler is greatly exhibited. The amount impregnated into the base material 1 can be further reduced, and it becomes easier to set the thickness of the base coat 2 in the protrusion 4 to be thicker than the thickness of the base coat 2 in the recess 5. Furthermore, when applying the base paint 7 with the flow coater 9 at this time, since the base material 1 is preheated to increase the viscosity of the applied base paint 7, the interfacial tension of the base paint 7 is increased. This prevents the base paint 7 from dripping and flowing from the top of the protrusion 4 into the recess 5, and also prevents the base paint 7 from dripping and flowing at the end of the protrusion 4 due to the surface tension of the base paint 7, as shown in FIG. The base coating film 2 has a raised part 1
0 occurs, and the thickness of the base coating film 2 becomes particularly thick at this portion. After forming the base coating film 2 in this way, a surface paint prepared as a color clear by mixing a pigment with a transparent and glossy clear paint is applied to the surface of the base coating film 2 in a uniform thickness,
As shown in FIG. 1, a surface coating film 3 is formed with a uniform thickness over the protrusions 4 and the recesses 5. This surface coating can be applied using a flow coater. And on the back side of the base material 1 is a back coating film 11.
It is used to form decorative building boards, etc.

る。 However, the thickness of the base coating film 2 is thick in the protrusion 4 that was used as a lever, and the thickness of the base coating film 2 is thin in the concave part 5. At the same time, the base coating film 2 cannot completely hide the base material 1 in the concave portions 5, and the color of the base material 1 appears black in the concave portions 5 through the base coating film 2. Undercoat film 2
In this case, color shading occurs between the recesses 5 and the protrusions 6, and the color shading of the base coating film 2 appears as shading on the surface coating film 3, making it possible to perform two-tone makeup with the color shading. be.
Particularly at the ends of the protrusions 4, the base coat 2 becomes thicker at the raised portions 10, so that the shading of the base coat 2 between the protrusions 4 and the recesses 5 is clearly visible.
In addition, in this case, it is not necessary to completely hide the base material 1 with the entire base coating film 2, and moreover, by preheating the base material 1, the impregnation of the base paint 7 into the base material 1 can be reduced. Therefore, there is no need to increase the thickness of the base coat 2, and the base coat 2 can be formed with a single layer of coating by the flow coater 9, and the shading of the base coat 2 can be reduced. Since it is sufficient to directly express the surface coating film 3 on the surface coating film 3, it is possible to form the surface coating film 3 to have a uniform thickness without the need to form a thin portion on the surface coating film 3.

た。 Next, to establish the present invention more specifically, the base material 1 is a large flat plate (asbestos cement board) with an embossed surface and a thickness of 6 mm, a width of 4 shaku, and a length of 2 m.
After preheating the base material 1 to 40°C, a roll coater 8 coats the surface of the base material 1 with base paint 7 (Polyure 20-74 manufactured by Nippon Paint Co., Ltd., white color viscosity Foord Cup No. 4 30-40). At the same time, this base paint 7 is applied with a flow coater 9, and the solid content is 115% at the protrusion 4.
A base coating film 2 with a solid content of 105 g/m 2 is formed in the concave portion 5, and a surface paint (Excel Color Clear Paint manufactured by Nippon Paint Co., Ltd.) is further applied to the surface of the base coating film 2. Gray color) was applied to a uniform thickness to form a surface coating film 3 having a uniform thickness of 50 g/m 2 in terms of solid content. Further, a backside paint was applied to the backside of the base material 1 to form a backside coating film 11 having a solid content of 65 g/m 2 to produce a decorative building board.

Then, a surface paint is applied to the surface of this base coat to form a surface coat of uniform thickness, so the concealment effect due to the difference in the thickness of the base coat between protrusions and recesses is reduced. The influence of the color of the base material appears as a difference in shading of the base coating film, and this shading further appears in the surface coating film to create a two-tone makeup, There is no need to completely hide the base material with the entire base coat, so there is no need to increase the thickness of the base coat, and if the shading that occurs in the base coat appears as it is on the surface coat, it becomes a two-tone makeup. The surface coating film can be formed to have a uniform thickness, and there will be no areas with low waterproofness. Moreover, since the base paint is applied with the base material preheated, when the base paint comes into contact with the base material, the solvent in the base paint evaporates, increasing the viscosity of the base paint, and impregnating it into the base material. The amount of base paint applied can be reduced, and the interfacial tension of the base paint can be increased by increasing the viscosity, thereby preventing the base paint from dripping and flowing from the top of the protrusion to the recess. Due to the surface tension of the base paint, raised areas can be created in the base paint film at the edges of the protrusions, making the shading of the base paint between the protrusions and recesses stand out, creating a clear two-tone makeup. It is possible.
