Conventional configurations and their problems Conventionally, separate type air conditioners have only the indoor unit installed indoors and the outdoor unit installed outside, so the indoor noise is generally lower than that of integrated types such as window types. Although it has the advantage of being able to be installed in a room without windows, the problem is that it takes time to install because the unit is separated into two or more units. Particularly in the case of wall-mounted units, installation of the indoor unit is time consuming and has the disadvantage of poor workability.

In addition, when installing the indoor unit main body on a wall, installation bars, installation plates, installation brackets, etc. are generally required, and there are many cases where a gap is created between the indoor unit and the wall, which may impair the aesthetics of the room or create a feeling of pressure. It was hot.

In addition, when installing a wall-mounted unit in a Japanese-style room, it is usually installed between the edge of the ceiling and the lintel, and a through hole is drilled in the wall above the lintel to install piping, wiring, or a drain hose that connects the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. However, if the distance between the surrounding edge and the lintel is narrow, the through hole cannot be drilled in the designated position, making it difficult to install the unit because the slope necessary for draining water cannot be maintained. An example of installing the indoor unit main body 1 in such a configuration is to first select the installation position of the indoor unit main body 1 using a paper pattern or the like while carefully considering the position of the through hole 10 to be drilled in the wall 9. Then, determine the position of the installation bar 5, and tighten the installation bar mounting screw 6.
The installation frame 5 is fixed to the circumferential edge 7 and the lintel 8.

As shown in the above example, conventional wall-mounted separate air conditioners require many installation parts, which takes time and effort. There are disadvantages such as the lack of space for the indoor unit, which limits the installation position, or the installation work becomes difficult. Also, there is a gap between the indoor unit main body 1 and the back wall, which impairs the aesthetics. The drawback was that it gave the user a feeling of pressure.

Structure of the Invention In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a pipe-shaped projection protruding from an indoor unit, a thread is cut at the tip of the projection, and the pipe-shaped projection is passed through a through hole in a partition wall. By sandwiching the indoor unit and the outdoor unit hanging tool from the wall and tightening the nuts that fit into the screws, the indoor unit and outdoor unit hanging tool are fixed to the wall surface, and the indoor unit and outdoor unit are attached to the inside of the pipe-shaped protrusion. It is designed to pass connected plumbing pipes, wiring, drain hoses, etc. The outdoor unit is hung on the outdoor unit hanger and fixed with screws if necessary.

Reference numeral 23 is a cushioning material made of a material with high elasticity and excellent weather resistance, such as urethane rubber, and is used by being sandwiched between the wall 9 and the nut 22. This serves as a buffer to obtain an appropriate tightening force when tightening the indoor unit main body 1 to the wall 9 with nuts, and by keeping the area of this cushioning material 23 in close contact with the wall 9 to an appropriate size, An appropriate pressure receiving area can be obtained, the indoor unit main body 1 can be firmly held on the wall 9, and the wall surface can be prevented from sinking. In addition, when the cushioning material 23 is installed outdoors, it also serves as a sealing material to prevent wind and rain from entering the room. The buffer material 23 also serves as a vibration damper to prevent the vibrations of the indoor unit main body 1 from being transmitted to the wall, and may be placed on both sides of the wall to enhance the vibration damping effect.

Furthermore, when tightening the screws, it is of course possible to use a structure in which the nuts are tightened from both sides across the wall in order to prevent direct tightening force from being applied to the indoor unit for reasons such as strength reasons. 24 is the indoor unit main body 1
It is a more protruding fixture and is fixed to a wall surface, pillar, etc. with a screw 25 to prevent the indoor unit main body 1 from rotating as necessary. 26 is the outdoor unit body,
Attach the outdoor unit body 26 to the outdoor unit hanger 27.
The hanging claw 28 provided on the wall is hung on the wall on the outside of the room. At that time, hanger 2 if necessary.
7 and the hanging claw 28 are fixed with screws 32,
To prevent the outdoor unit main body 26 from coming off. 29
Reference numerals 30 and 31 indicate a buffer material installed between the outdoor unit main body 26 and the wall 9, and connectors 30 and 31 for connecting the connecting pipes 11 and 12, respectively, between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. Numeral 32 is a screw for fixing the outdoor unit main body 26 to the hanging tool 27 as described above.

In such a configuration, the indoor unit main body 1
To show an example of installing the outdoor unit main body 26, first select the installation position of the indoor unit main body 1, make a through hole 10 in the wall 9, and pass the pipe-shaped protrusion 20 of the indoor unit main body 1 into the inside. Connecting pipes 11 and 12, connecting wiring 13, and drain hose 14 are brought out to the outdoor side through the through hole 10, and the outdoor unit hanger 27 and cushioning material 23 are passed through the threaded part 21 from the outdoor side, and the nut 22 is attached to the wall 9.
The indoor unit main body 1 and the hanging tool 27 are fixed by sandwiching the indoor unit main body 1 and the hanging tool 27, and if necessary, the indoor unit main body 1 is fixed to a wall or pillar on the indoor side with a fixing tool 24 and screws 25 to prevent rotation.

Next, after confirming that the drain water flows out smoothly, the pipe penetration part on the outdoor side is sealed with putty 18. Then, the outdoor unit main body 26 is hung on the outdoor unit hanger 27 using the hanging claws 28, and fixed with screws 32 if necessary. Furthermore, connection piping 1
1 and 12 are connected at the midpoint between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit using connectors 30 and 31, respectively. Finally, connect the connection wiring. This completes the installation work for the indoor unit and outdoor unit, making the installation work much simpler than in the conventional example.
