(Prior art) Conventional methods for imparting water absorbency to knitted fabrics include: using fibers with water absorption properties; imparting water absorption properties to fibers through chemical post-processing; and creating micropores in fibers physically and chemically. , which have been developed and used, however, they have not been fully satisfactory due to problems in the comfort of wearing, quick-drying properties, durability against washing, etc.

On the other hand, efforts were made to use false-twisted fused yarns in knitted fabrics to minimize the slimy and waxy feel characteristic of synthetic fibers and to bring the texture closer to that of natural fibers. No. 111073 proposes a cross-knitted fabric using fused yarn. Although this interwoven fabric was given a crisp feel suitable for the season, it had almost no effect on the essential water absorbency.

The composite three-layer structured yarn in the present invention is a false twisted composite yarn in which a sheath yarn made of multifilament yarn is wound around a core yarn with a yarn length difference (yarn length difference) of 15% or more. At that time, a part of the filament yarns constituting the sheath yarn is wound around the core yarn in an alternately twisted manner in a substantially bundled state, and the winding interface is at least partially fixed by fusion of the core yarn, On the other hand, the remaining filament yarns are individually separated and wound in a crimped state. The core yarn needs to be a fiber with a lower melting point than the sheath yarn, and preferably has a single yarn fineness greater than that of the sheath yarn, that is, the single yarn fineness exceeds 2 de.

Such a false-twisted composite yarn has a heat-fusion temperature higher than that of the thermoplastic synthetic fiber, and has a thickness of approximately 2 de or less, around the thermoplastic synthetic fiber (core yarn) that is being false-twisted. A multifilament yarn (sheath yarn) consisting of 40 or more ultra-fine single fibers is simultaneously false-twisted and wound under overfeed, and in this state, the yarns that essentially form the core are fused. ,
At the same time, by fusing the core yarn, at least a part of the sheath yarn that is in contact with the core yarn at the interface is fixed and heat-fixed, and after untwisting, both yarns are wound without separating. .

In order to effectively demonstrate the characteristics of the yarn used in the knitted fabric of the present invention, from the viewpoint of forming a sheath yarn structure, there must be a yarn length difference of 15% or more between the core yarn and sheath yarn of the false twisted composite yarn. A more preferable texture and appearance can be obtained when the difference in yarn length is 25% or more. When the yarn length difference is 40 to 70%, there is some excess yarn length and fine noils (uneven thickness), but it has a natural cotton appearance, which is preferable. However, if it exceeds 70%, there will be obvious netsubs and subslaves, and there is a risk that it will become fanciful.

Next, to explain the present invention in more detail with reference to the drawings, Fig. 1 is a model diagram of a typical side structure of the composite three-layer structure yarn used in the present invention, and Fig. 2 is a model diagram of a typical side structure of the composite three-layer structure yarn used in the present invention. FIG. 3 is a model diagram of a cross-sectional structure. In the figure, the core yarn 1 does not have the elasticity to be fused and the part 2 of the sheath yarn is at least partially fixed at the interface with the core yarn due to the fusion of the core yarn, and moreover, in the S direction and Z direction. It is said that the filament yarns 3 are wound continuously with the winding direction reversed even at a winding angle of 360 degrees or less, and the remaining filament yarns 3 of the sheath yarn are individually separated and wound in a crimped state. Those having a unique structure are best exemplified.

That is, the composite three-layer structure yarn used in the knitted fabric is
The sheath yarn is an ultra-fine multifilament with a fineness of 2de or less and a filament count of 40 or more, and has a structure in which it is wound in an alternating twist pattern with a yarn length difference of 15% or more, so it has sufficient bulk. The knitted fabric using such a yarn exhibits excellent water absorption performance in conjunction with the use of ultra-fine fibers, and the core, which is firm due to the fusion of the composite three-layer structure yarn, absorbs water when dry. It prevents moisture from penetrating and is effective in releasing water, so it has the characteristics of both water absorption and quick drying. In order to increase water absorption, it is sufficient to increase the water retention capacity. For this purpose, it is preferable that the single yarn denier of the sheath yarn is thinner. If the single yarn denier is less than 1 denier, excellent performance will be exhibited, but if the single yarn denier is Since it is thin in this manner and has the partially fused portions as described above, it can have a cotton-like feel and feel. In addition, by using a low melting point fiber as the core yarn of the composite three-layer structure yarn and making the single fiber fineness larger than that of the sheath yarn, the form of the composite three-layer structure yarn can be stably maintained,
It is possible to prevent a decrease in water retention due to morphological changes such as sagging during wearing of clothing using the knitted fabric of the present invention.
