Generally, these cases are formed by vacuum forming, that is, the sheet is clamped onto a mold and heated and softened, the gap between the mold and the sheet is evacuated, the sheet is molded in close contact with the mold, and then cooled and then molded. There are two methods: one is to tighten the vacuum to take out the molded product, and the other is to use pressure forming, in other words, to clamp a heated and softened sheet and use the force of compressed air to stretch the sheet to fit the mold to obtain a molded product. is often used.

However, with these conventional methods, there is a limit to the amount of narrowing even when trying to prevent uneven thickness, and therefore it is difficult to use a parison control device to prevent uneven thickness. In other words, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, when there is a local overhang a on one side, blow molding using a parison control device with a large number of division points will reduce uneven thickness, but the parison control device , since the thickness of the parison is changed in the extrusion direction, unnecessary resin is used on the side where there is no local overhang a, which increases the resin cost. In addition, in Figures 1 and 2, b
is the parting line, that is, the mating surface of the mold.

Figure 3 shows the wall thickness distribution of the overhang part a of the molded product by the conventional method when parison c is sandwiched between molds d and e and molded by applying internal pressure. This causes uneven thickness, resulting in a very thin wall and lack of rigidity.

An object of the present invention is to provide a blow molding method that does not cause unevenness in the thickness of local overhangs of a blow molded product that is cut and used after blow molding. Therefore, in the present invention, a parison overhang plate having a similar shape that is suitably smaller than the shape of the overhang of the molded product is placed inside the parison to face the local overhang, and then the mold is clamped. After that, air is blown into the parison to form the parison so that uneven thickness does not occur in the local protruding portion. For an example thereof, see FIGS. 4 to 6. I will explain while doing so.

4 to 6 are 2 to 3 centimeters from the arcuate shape of the local overhang of the mold 1 in order to prevent uneven thickness of the local overhang a shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. This is an example in which a small arc-shaped parison overhang 3 is provided, and FIGS. 4 and 5 are cross-sectional views showing a state in which the parison is brought into close contact with the surfaces of the molds 1 and 2 by applying internal pressure. FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing the pre-process. That is, as shown in FIG. 6, first, the parison projecting plate 3 is fixed to the holding fitting 4 and inserted into the blow pin 5. Note that the positions of these parts are determined by keys or the like. Next, the overhanging plate 3 is made to face the A position of the mold 1 having the local overhang. Then, the parisons 7 and 8 are extruded to a predetermined length from the blow nozzle 6 of the blow molding machine. Then, the overhang plate 3 is located inside the parisons 7 and 8, and the arc portion of the overhang plate 3 is in contact with the parison 7. When the molds 1 and 2 are closed in this state, the portion in contact with the overhanging plate 3 is pushed into the mold 1, and the parison wall thickness is maintained approximately. Then, when air is blown through the blow pin 5 and internal pressure is applied, the parison 7 separates from the projecting plate 3 and moves to the wall surface of the mold 1. The smaller this displacement is, the more thinning is prevented. As shown in FIG. 4, the end B of the arc of the overhang plate 3 is at the same level as the end C of the local overhang of the mold 1. The molded product 9 obtained by the above procedure is taken out from the molds 1 and 2, the blow pin 5 is taken out and cut, and the overhanging plate 3 fixed with the holding fitting 4 is taken out. The cut molded product becomes the material for the case. In addition, in FIGS. 4 and 5,
10 is a parting line, that is, a mating surface of molds 1 and 2.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the parison overhang plate 3 has an arc shape, but this is because the local overhang part a of the molded product is in an arc shape. If part a has another shape, the shape of the overhang plate 3 will also be a suitably small shape similar to it.

As described above, in the present invention, a parison overhang plate having a similar shape that is suitably smaller than the shape of the local overhang of the molded product is made to face the local overhang of the mold within the parison, and then The mold is clamped, and then air is blown into the parison to form the mold, so when the mold is clamped, the part of the parison that is in contact with the overhang plate is pushed into the mold, creating a local overhang. The thickness of the parison is maintained, and uneven thickness of local overhangs of the blow-molded product is therefore reliably prevented.
