(a) Purpose of the invention (Field of industrial application) The present invention relates to a textile softening agent for softening fibers, textiles, etc. themselves and preventing static electricity when washing clothing, etc. It is characterized by improved usability by forming it into powder form. (Prior Art) Conventionally, the most commonly used finishing compositions for fiber softening have been liquid or water-dispersed compositions containing 90% or more water content using cationic surfactants. This means that in order to stabilize cationic surfactants, good results can be obtained by relying on the method of incorporating the surfactants into water, and that it is difficult to formulate appropriate amounts at a commercial pace. This is based on the conclusion that this method is the most appropriate. However, there are various problems caused by the use of containers, such as high cost, bloat, and unnecessary expenses, as well as increased weight during distribution, leakage, complicated storage and handling, and the fact that it is a liquid. The reality is that there are. Furthermore, in terms of use, since it is a liquid, it is easy to add more than necessary, as well as the impossibility of using it during the drying process, the difficulty of refilling, and the so-called separation of the amount used each time. There were problems such as the impossibility of adopting a one-pack format. Therefore, Japanese Patent Publication No. 47-19594, U.S. Patent No.
A so-called dry softer, which is made by attaching a softening agent component to a nonwoven fabric, sponge, etc., has been developed for use in dryers, as disclosed in No. 3414459. However, such materials have poor water dispersibility during the rinsing process of washing machines, and in particular, there are problems in that the effective adhesion components are difficult to completely dissolve in water, and the fibrillar state of nonwoven fabrics and paper fabrics. Processing problems inevitably arise, such as the possibility that substances may get mixed into treated fibers or damage washing machines and dryers. Furthermore, in manufacturing, the process of applying the softening agent liquid to the base fabric is expensive, and uneven coating on nonwoven fabrics and difficulty in adjusting the amount of coating inevitably lead to high costs, making it difficult to use liquid products. When compared, the disadvantage was that the price difference was significant. Furthermore, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 47-34405 discloses a method of pressurizing a specific softening agent onto solids such as urea and sodium sulfate. However, there are many problems with cationic surfactants, such as their effects due to their ionic properties in water, their meltability during the drying process, their stability under normal conditions, their solubility in water, and their versatility (difficulty in mass production). However, there were problems in general usability. (Problems with the Conventional Problems) As mentioned above, liquid fabric softeners have problems due to the fact that they are liquids, and fabric softeners attached to non-woven fabrics, etc., have problems in their manufacture as mentioned above. As mentioned above, there are various problems in general applicability in the case of pressurizing a specific softening agent to a solid material. By making the softener composition into a powder, the present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and at the same time, it can achieve various outstanding effects as a softener that have never existed before. It is characterized by the following. (B) Structure of the Invention (Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention is characterized in that a cationic surfactant is mixed in a powder obtained by pulverizing film-like dextrin in a range of 5 to 60%. This relates to a fiber softening agent that is in the form of a powder. The film-like dextrin used preferably satisfies the following conditions. Specific volume: 6-25 c.c./g Moisture: 1% or less PH (1%): 3-6 Starch decomposition rate: 90% or more Angle of repose: 50° or less DE value: 2-18 Also, the cations used The surfactant preferably has the following structure. R 1 : C=8-22 alkyl group R 2 - R 4 : C=1-3 or C=8-22 alkyl group, or (C 2 H 4 O)nH (n=1-20 positive (integer) (R 1 and In this case, the specific conditions are 10 to 45% cationic surfactant and 10% nonionic surfactant.
Below, the paraffin composition is 5% or less, the specific volume is 6.5 to 20 c.c./g, the angle of repose is 50 to 60°, and the pH is 1.
% aqueous solution is preferably about 4 to 8. (Example) The present invention uses one or both of a nonionic surfactant and a paraffin composition as necessary for a cationic surfactant, and powders obtained by pulverizing film-like dextrin. By mixing the fiber softening agent with the body and drying it, a fiber softening agent that takes on a powder form is obtained. Film-like dextrin has glucose equivalent (Dextrose Equivalent = D, E value)
Sweet potato, mackerel, corn, wheat, potato, and other cereal starches having a particle size of 2 to 18, preferably 5 to 12, are pressure-hydrolyzed with enzymes, mineral acids, etc., and reacted to desired D and E values, decolorizing, deodorizing, A slurry obtained by pretreatment such as neutralization is formed into a film by a spray drying method, a vacuum drying method, a drum dryer drying method, a freeze drying method, a high pressure drying method, etc., and this is pulverized. In addition, the above D and E values are 2~
Unless it is about 18, excellent powder properties cannot be obtained. The fineness of the pulverized powder is preferably 200 mesh or less. This is because if the powder is finer than this, the powder properties will deteriorate and the powder will scatter. In addition, its physical properties include a specific volume of 6 to 25 c.c./g, a moisture content of 1% or less,
It is a water-soluble powder with a pH (1% aqueous solution) of 3 to 6, a D and E value of 2 to 18, a starch decomposition rate of 90% or more, and an angle of repose of 60° or less. Examples of the cationic surfactant that is the main component of the fabric softener used in the present invention include the following. (1) General formula (2) General formula (3) General formula (4) General formula (5) General formula (6) Weakly cationic polyamide amine type (e.g. acid neutralized product of diethylene triamine and tallow stearic acid condensate and epichlorohydrin addition polymer, imidazoline type organic acid salt, etc.) (7) Cationic polymer (e.g. cationized cellulose, cationized starch, hydroxycellulose, etc.) In the above general formula, R 1 is an alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, R 2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 or 8 to 22 carbon atoms, and R 3 and R 4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms or a benzyl group, R 5 is an alkyl group having 1 to 3 hydrocarbons or (C 2 H 2 O) nH, and R 6 is (C 2 H 2 O)
nH and X are halogen (cl, Br, I), an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or an alkyl sulfate (where n is a positive integer of 1 to 20). Additionally, polyethylene glycol fatty acid esters, higher alcohol ethoxylates, fatty acid alkanolamides, ethoxylated fatty acid alkanolamides, alkyl phosphates, imidazolium salts, and alkyl betaine type surfactants can also be used in combination with the above surfactants. It is. Other types of cationic surfactants include amine salts, such as octadecylamine acetate, oxyethylene laurylamine, polyoxyethylene laurylamine, polyoxyethylene tallow amine, polyoxyethylene yacyamine, stearylamine, and lauryl. Amine etc. also have an external odor (amine odor)
They may be contained in combination as long as the stability is not impaired. The present invention also provides water-soluble or water-dispersible powders other than the above-mentioned specific dextrins, such as cornstarch, cyclodextrin, dextrin,
Polyhydric alcohol, PEG, white carbon, erosyl talc, metallic soap, baking soda, magnesium carbonate, magnesium phosphate, alumina, bennite, CMC, cellulose powder, rice starch,
Flour, soda ash, Glauber's salt (anhydrous sodium sulfate),
Sepiolite (magnesium silicate fibrous crystal), zinc white, kaolin, pregelatinized starch, etherified starch, etc. cannot be said to fully satisfy the characteristics of the present invention. Next, as nonionic surfactants, HLB8~
Among the 16, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, fatty acid alkanolamide, alkyl dimelamine oxide, polyoxyethylene alkylate ester, sorbitan monoalkyl ester, oxyethylene, oxypropylene block polymer, glycerol monoalkylate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono alkylate etc.
It is desirable that it is water-soluble and has a melting point of 60°C or lower. Among these, those having a long chain alkyl group from C14 to C18 are preferable as fabric softeners in terms of product characteristics, since they have good dispersion stability and low foaming properties. The mixing ratio of cationic surfactant and nonionic surfactant is 100 parts by weight of the former to 100 parts by weight of the latter.
The amount is preferably about 100 to 5 parts by weight, particularly about 20 to 5 parts by weight, from the viewpoint of product stability, improved water dispersibility, and economical usability. In addition, paraffin compositions are a general term for non-aqueous dispersion materials with thermofusible fluidity, and are used to prevent the fabric softener composition from becoming sticky due to moisture in the air. , is used for the purpose of imparting appropriate lubricity and improving the feel, and is mixed at a limit of 5% or less in the total formulation. Specific examples of such substances include liquid paraffin, petrolatum, squalane (oil agent whose main component is saturated hydrocarbons obtained by reducing hydrocarbons obtained from cod liver oil),
The main products are various edible vegetable oils, lanolin, silicone, urea, stearic acid enoxylate, stearyl alcohol, and mineral oil. Other oily substances such as hydrocarbon compounds that are often used as emollients (liquoring agents) in the cosmetics field are included in this category, but if these emollients exceed 5% of the total formulation, they may cause a slimy feeling. In addition, the water absorption property decreases, and its commercial value as a fabric softener decreases. Particularly preferred are liquid paraffin (70° type), squalane, castor oil,
Examples include silicone oil. The main raw materials used in the present invention are as mentioned above, but in order to improve storage stability, BHT (dibutyl hydroxyl toluene), tocopherol acetate, and EPA are added.
Antioxidants such as (eicosapentaenoic acid), DHA (docosahemosaenoic acid), ascorbic acid, abietic acid, PCMX (parachlormetaxylenol), chlorhexidine, isopropylmethylphenol, parabens, hexacchlorophene, trichlorocarbanilide, Bromosalicylanilide, 2-2'-methylenebis-(3,4,6)
Trichlorophenol, 2-2'-4obis(4,
6) Antibacterial preservatives such as dichlorophenol, benzoate, sorbate, and chlorine dioxide may be added. Furthermore, in order to increase the product value, we use fragrances, deodorizers, chelating agents, pigments, fluorescent agents, bleaching agents, white carbon, Erosyl, bentonite, talc,
It is also possible to use a drying agent such as zinc white or polyhydric alcohol. Specific embodiments of the present invention are as follows. The most preferred formulation of the fiber softener according to the present invention is as follows. ◎Cationic surfactant (water dispersible and soluble) 20-40% by weight ◎Nonionic surfactant (HLB8-16)
5-15% by weight ◎Paraffin composition (emollient)
2-4% by weight ◎Powder (specific dextrin) 45-55% by weight) ◎Other additives Balance moisture: 5% or less Apparent specific gravity: 0.4-0.65 PH (1% aqueous solution): 4-8 Angle of repose: 45-60゜Water dissolution rate (20℃): Completely dissolved within 60 seconds at 10%. Products that meet the above conditions are excellent products. The present invention uses 40% of cationic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, paraffin compositions, and other liquid materials.
It is obtained by forming a hot solution at a temperature of ~60°C, dry blending this into a specific dextrin, and then subjecting it to a drying treatment. The powdered fiber softener thus obtained dissolves quickly in water, and since it is in powder form, it is lightweight and easy to package.Furthermore, the powder does not scatter and the powder used is food additive. Because it is a product, it is highly safe, has an appropriate binder effect, and can be used safely and with confidence. (Function) Tests conducted to confirm the effects of the fiber softener according to the present invention and their results are as follows. This completely eliminates the conventional problems of high cost, weight, leakage, etc. caused by the use of containers. Furthermore, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the cost of use, secondly, the powder does not become more pulverized than necessary and cause unpleasant phenomena due to its scattering, and thirdly, the present invention can reduce the usage cost. The first is that it exhibits good water solubility in cold water during the washing process and can also be used in the drying process, and the fourth is that it is a powdered product (binder).
Five, it is safe and has no side effects such as damaging dryers, irritation to human skin, and odor, and six, it is suitable for mass production. Seventh, it is possible to provide a powdered fabric softener containing at least 20% or more of a cationic surfactant.
