本発明は貨車への自動車の積み下しをクレーン
等の機械設備を用いることなく貨車一両単位で行
えるようにしたターンテーブル式自動車運搬用貨

ートレインにより、よりよいサービスを提供で
き、又陸上輸送であつても自動車による長距離輸
送はエネルギ的にもドライバーの疲労の面から
も、それなりの問題があるので、安全、迅速、か
つ省エネルギになる鉄道による自動車運搬が最も

〔従来の技術と問題点〕
従来の自動車運搬における列車への自動車の積
み込みは、列車の最後尾に自動車が自走で列車に
乗りこめるような走行タラツプをおき、そこから
次々と自動車が自走で乗りこみ列車の前方から順
次つめていく方式であつた。又自動車を下す時は
前方の機関車をはずし、走行タラツプを前方にお
き、前から順々に自走で自動車を下す方式であつ
た。この方式では途中での自動車を下すことは列
車の入替作業が伴い現実的には不可能であつた。
さらに大型トラツクの搭載は、鉄道には上部高さ
の制限があるため、台車の車輪を小さくして床面
を低くした低床貨車を開発して対応しているが、

を可能にし、又車体台枠の台車間をくぼませて貨
車の床面を低くして、大型トラツクの搭載を可能
にしたものである。すなわち、台車間の台枠上面
をくぼませて低くした車体台枠と該車体台枠の低
台枠部の上部に両端にひんじにより上下可動な2
つの走行板を取付けたターンテーブルと、前記タ
ーンテーブルに回転力を与える回転装置と低台枠
部の両端にターンテーブルを回転させるころを装
備し、かつ前記車体台枠にはターンテーブルが回
転したときに荷重を支えるころ付き支持腕と支持
足を設け、走行板からターンテーブルを使つて自
動車を自走でクレーン台の機械設備を使用しない
で積み下ろしを貨車一両単位毎に行えるようにし
たものである。
