That is, the heald frame 1 consists of upper and lower cross beams 2a, 2b and side frames (side stays) 3a, 3b, and both ends of heald bars 4a, 4b arranged at a slight distance from the upper and lower cross beams 2a, 2b are It is fixed to the side frames 3a and 3b by a fixture 5. The heald 6 has a mail hole 7 for inserting the warp threads in the middle part, and also has loop-shaped attachment parts 8a and 8b at both ends, and these attachment parts 8a and 8b are attached to the upper and lower heald bars 4a and 4, respectively.
inserted into b. And heald bars 4a, 4b
is supported at its proper position by middle hooks 9 attached to the cross beams 2a and 2b, thereby preventing its deflection.

In addition, if the heald is attached via a heald bar, the manufacturing error increases accordingly, and the hole diameter of the heald attachment part must be made larger, which increases the play of the heald. There was significant wear and tear, and there were also problems in terms of durability.

However, in order to reduce the weight and noise of the heald, if the fork legs are made of a cushioning material such as plastic or hard rubber, the heald frame should be made as thick as possible. Since the fork legs are thin, it is difficult to provide sufficient strength to the fork legs, and there is a risk that the fork legs may come off the holding rail.

Furthermore, since the mounting portions 23a and 23b of the heald 21 are made of a cushioning material such as plastic, the cross beams 12a and 23b are made of cushioning material such as plastic.
When the fitting portions 12b come into contact with the inner surfaces of the fitting portions 14a and 14b, the cushioning effect can suppress the generation of sound, which is effective in reducing noise. Furthermore, in the past, the loop-shaped attachment part of the heald was fitted to the heald bar with a rectangular cross section, so that it was locked in a line contact state, but the attachment parts 23a, 23b and the inner surfaces of the fitting parts 14a, 14b Since the two come into contact and receive force, the support strength also increases.

It was inevitable that it would get thicker.
Therefore, when the number of heald frames is the same and the warp density is high, the density of the healds must be increased accordingly, but this is sometimes constrained by the thickness of the attachment parts 23a and 23b.

In addition, by positioning both ends of the metal member of the heald offset to the thick wall side of the mounting portion, it is possible to increase the density of the heald.
