As a conventional structure for attaching a heald to a heald frame, for example, a structure as shown in FIG. 1 is common. That is, the heald frame 1 consists of upper and lower cross beams 2a, 2b and side frames (side stays) 3a, 3b, and both ends of heald bars 4a, 4b arranged at a slight distance from the upper and lower cross beams 2a, 2b are It is fixed to the side frames 3a and 3b by a fixture 5. The heald 6 has a mail hole 7 for warp insertion in the middle part, and has loop-shaped attachment parts 8a and 8b at both ends.
a and 8b are upper and lower heald bars 4a and 4b, respectively
inserted into. The heald bars 4a, 4b are supported at appropriate positions by milled hooks 9 attached to the cross beams 2a, 2b, thereby preventing their deflection.

However, in such a conventional mounting structure, the heald 6 moves freely due to the vertical movement of the heald frame 1 within the range of play between the fitting parts 8a, 8b and the heald bars 4a, 4b. , metals abutted against each other, and this accounted for a large portion of the noise of the loom.

Therefore, as shown in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 53-106863, the attachment portion of the heald to the heald bar is made of plastic to reduce noise.

However, since this type also used a heddle bar, the heald bar added weight, and the heald frame had to be made larger to accommodate the heddle bar, which increased the overall weight, making it compatible with the speeding up of recent looms. I couldn't do it. In addition, when the heald is attached via a heald bar, the manufacturing error increases accordingly, and the hole diameter of the heald attachment part must be made larger, which increases the play of the heald. There was significant wear and tear, and there were also problems in terms of durability.

Furthermore, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 49-101663, a rectangular holding rail is attached to the cross beam of the heald frame, and a two-pronged fork leg formed at the end of the heald is fitted to this. However, in order to reduce the weight and noise of the heald, if the fork legs are made of a cushioning material such as plastic or hard rubber, the heald frame should be made as thick as possible. Since the fork legs are thin, it is difficult to provide sufficient strength to the fork legs, and there is a risk that the fork legs may come off the holding rail.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a structure for attaching a heald to a heald frame, which can reduce noise and reduce weight suitable for high-speed operation, and has sufficient support strength. For this reason, in the present invention, fitting parts are formed in the upper and lower cross beams of the heald frame, extending in the longitudinal direction of the heald frame and opening narrowly through slits, into which the fitting parts formed at both ends of the heald are fitted. At the same time, a portion of at least one of the cross beams and a portion of the mounting portion constitute a rotation restriction device that restricts rotation of the heald about its axis; A cushioning material is provided at the part where the part is locked.

The heald 21 has a mail hole 22 for inserting the warp threads in the middle part of a plate-shaped metal member made of stainless steel or the like, and rectangular attachment parts 23a, 2 are formed by integrally molding a light metal such as aluminum or magnesium at both ends of the mail hole 22.
3b is formed. Incidentally, it is desirable that both ends of the plate-shaped metal member be shaped so that no dropout occurs after casting. These mounting parts 23a, 23
b is for fitting into the fitting parts 14a, 14b to which the cushioning materials 18a, 18b are attached, and grooves 24a, 24b corresponding to the protrusions 17a, 17b.
It is equipped with Here, the protrusions 17a, 17b
The groove portions 24a and 24b constitute a rotation restriction device that restricts rotation of the heald 21 about its axis.

Further, near the longitudinal ends of the cross beams 12a, 12b, notch grooves 31a, 31b are formed from the opposing sides, penetrating in the front-rear direction, and crossing the fitting parts 14a, 14b. Notch groove 31

Therefore, when attaching the heald 21 to the heald frame 11, the attachment parts 23a and 23b of the heald 21 are attached to the cross beam 12 with the closing pieces 33a and 33b removed.
a, 12b into the notch grooves 31a, 31b, and when it matches the fitting parts 14a, 14b, the cross beam 12
A, 12b are installed by shifting them in the longitudinal direction. still,
The grooves 24a, 24b of the attachment parts 23a, 23b fit into the protrusions 17a, 17b of the fitting parts 14a, 14b, thereby preventing the heald 21 from rotating. When all the fittings are completed, the tips of the closing pieces 33a and 33b are inserted into the notched grooves 31a and 31b to close them, and the screws 32a and 32b are fixed.

According to this configuration, the heald bar and the middle hook can be eliminated, and the weight can be reduced by that amount, and the heald frame 11 can also be downsized, making it possible to significantly reduce the weight. Therefore, it becomes suitable for high-speed looms.

Furthermore, in the past, the loop-shaped attachment part of the heald was fitted to the heald bar with a rectangular cross section, so that it was locked in a line contact state, but the attachment parts 23a, 23b and the locking parts 16a, 16a', 1

As shown in FIG. 5, even if the cushioning materials 41a and 41a' having a U-shaped cross section are fitted only to the locking parts 16a and 16a' of the fitting part 14a, the heald mainly moves up and down. Since most of the force is received by the locking portions 16a and 16a', a sufficient buffering effect can be obtained.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the mounting portions formed at both ends of the heald are fitted and locked into the fitting portions formed on the upper and lower cross beams of the heald frame via the cushioning material. The conventional heald bar and middle hook can be abolished, and the heald frame can be made smaller and its weight can be reduced, which is advantageous for increasing the speed of the loom. Furthermore, since a portion of at least one of the cross beams and a portion of the mounting portion constitute a rotation regulating device that restricts the rotation of the heald around its axis, it is possible to prevent the heald from rotating and falling off. . Furthermore, since the cushioning material is provided at least at the portion of the fitting portion that locks the attachment portion, the cushioning effect can suppress the generation of noise and reduce wear. Furthermore, the support strength becomes sufficient, and durability can be greatly improved.
