Generally, there are two ways to manufacture long counters: one is made of long wooden boards, the other is the parquet method.
Sometimes it is caused by a large block of wood. When using long wooden boards, it is difficult to procure the long wooden boards themselves, and because the fiber direction of the long wooden boards is aligned in the length direction of the counter, wood deterioration due to moisture changes progresses over the entire length, causing warping. There are drawbacks that can easily occur. On the other hand, in the case of the latter method using blocks of wood, it is necessary to arrange large blocks of wood vertically and horizontally and butt and glue the end faces together, which not only results in poor workability and high costs, but also due to the difference in deformation of each block of wood. This often causes warping, bending, etc.

This invention was made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the conventional art, and provides a method for manufacturing a parquet counter that is easy to manufacture, less likely to cause defects such as deformation, and that allows a checkered pattern to appear on the surface of the counter. This is a summary. That is, in the present invention, wooden board pieces having a certain thickness and width are glued horizontally in parallel to form a flat plate, and this flat plate is cut at regular intervals perpendicular to the fiber direction of the wood board pieces to form unit board pieces. In the first step, a large block piece is formed by combining and gluing the unit plate pieces so that the fiber directions are alternately perpendicular to each other, and this block piece is glued at right angles to the length direction of the unit plate piece. The gist is a method for manufacturing a parquet counter, which consists of a second step of cutting at regular intervals to form a material board, and a third step of gluing and forming a counter of a predetermined size using this material board. It is something to do.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to the illustrated embodiment. In the first step, 1 is a wooden board having a certain thickness t and width w, and an appropriate number of these are arranged so that their sides are in contact with each other. , a flat plate 2 is first formed by adhering them to each other. Next, this flat plate is cut at regular intervals of 2t (twice the thickness of the wood board) perpendicular to the fiber direction to form unit board pieces 3.

After this, the second step is to remove the unit plate piece 3.
The block piece 4 is formed by combining and adhering a large number of the fibers so that their fiber directions are alternately perpendicular to each other. In the illustrated example, as shown in FIG. 2, two overlapping unit plate pieces 3 are used as a unit, and the blocks 4 are formed by assembling the units alternately vertically and horizontally and bonding them together. At this time, each unit plate piece 3 has a thickness of t and a width of 2t, so when two of these are stacked on top of each other, both the thickness and width become 2t, so to speak, the bottom surface is 2t vertically and 2t horizontally. As a result, the rectangular parallelepipeds (pillars) are assembled, and the block piece 4 can be easily formed. A so-called checkered pattern appears on the side surface 4a of the block piece 4.

After forming the block piece 4 in this way,
This block piece 4 is cut at regular intervals d at right angles to the length direction of the unit plate piece 3 to form a plate that will become the material for the counter. As described above, both sides of this material board 5 exhibit a checkered pattern, and in the third step, a plurality of the material boards 5 can be connected horizontally to form a counter 6 of a predetermined length. 7 is a decorative material attached to both ends of the counter 6, and in the example shown, holes 6 are provided at predetermined locations on the counter 6.
A is provided and used as a kitchen counter. The material plates 5 can be connected, for example, by adhesive means, but it is also possible to cut the material plates 5 to an appropriate size and then glue them together. Since there is no fiber direction), it is extremely convenient for connection work.

The counter manufactured by the method of this invention is
As mentioned above, since the fiber direction is not continuous and the end surface of each component piece of wood is sealed with adhesive, the movement of moisture is blocked by each component piece of wood, or the movement speed is significantly suppressed. The transmission of wood deterioration due to moisture can be effectively prevented. In addition, since the counter material plate has no directionality as mentioned above, it is possible to prevent the dimensional deformation due to moisture from occurring, which can prevent the counter from becoming misshapen. In addition, the surface of the counter inevitably has a checkered pattern, which has a decorative effect and helps improve the grade. Furthermore, according to the present invention, a counter can be formed by connecting the raw material boards horizontally, making the work easier and more efficient than the conventional method of forming a counter by connecting a large number of blocks of wood vertically and horizontally. Moreover, it has excellent advantages such as less variation in quality and uniformity of the entire counter.
