Conventional configuration and its problems Conventional quartz tube heaters are generally recognized for their advantages, such as being bright and emitting red heat quickly, but if the conventional quartz tube heater, which was previously used horizontally, is used vertically, During use, the heated heater element sagged under its own weight, becoming rough on the upper side and denser on the lower side, and eventually causing a short circuit due to contact between the wires and breaking the wires, making it impractical for practical use. Therefore, since quartz tube heaters are used vertically, a new heater element has been developed in which the heating wire is tightly wound to prevent the above-mentioned sagging, and an insulating film is formed on the surface of the wire to prevent short circuits even if the heating wire is tightly wound. This made it possible to use the quartz tube heater vertically. The configuration of this vertically used quartz tube heater is shown in FIG. Reference numeral 101 denotes a heater element formed with an insulating film and tightly wound to have the same diameter. End caps 103 are attached to both ends of a quartz tube 102 in which this heater element is installed.
A quartz tube heater is constructed by providing the following. The heater element 101 provided in the quartz tube 102 is tightly wound, but when used vertically, it bends as shown by the broken line in FIG. 1 due to its own weight. In this state, the second
When the AC power shown in the figure is applied, current flows through the heater element in section a. However, Fe is suitable as a material for this type of heater element.
-Cr-Al heating wire is a ferromagnetic material and is tightly wound into a coil, so a magnetic field is generated when current flows. The generation of this magnetic field is proportional to the strength of the flowing current. When this magnetic field is generated, the heater elements are attracted to each other as shown in FIG. 3, and the heater elements are no longer bent. At this time, the quartz tube and heater element no longer come into contact. However, since it is an AC power source, it always passes through the zero point b as shown in FIG. At this time, the current in the heater element also becomes zero, and no magnetic field is generated, and the heater element bends again and hits the quartz tube. When it hits this quartz tube, a sound is generated. This cycle is repeated and a harsh noise is generated, but as the temperature of the heater element rises as the electricity is turned on, the magnetic material in the heater element disappears, the effect of the magnetic field disappears, and the sound disappears. In other words, it has the disadvantage that noise is generated when electricity is first applied.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. Reference numeral 1 designates a heater element, on the outside of which a quartz tube 2 is provided, end caps 3 are provided at both ends, and the end cap contact portion 1-a of the heater element is bent into an L-shape. FIG. 5 shows this quartz tube heater incorporated into an electric heater. 4 is the electric heater body. The end cap portion of the quartz tube heater is fixed with a heater holding plate 5. Although it is not clearly shown in the diagram, there is another one at the top. By fixing the end cap 3 with the heater holding plate 5, the heater element 1 is fixed. As shown in FIG. 4, the heater element 1 is compressed as shown by the dashed line and comes into contact with the quartz tube 2 from the beginning. If power is applied in this state, the heater elements 1 will overcome the force of attraction of the heater elements 1 to each other when the magnetic field is generated, and the heater elements 1 will not move, and no sound will be generated when the heater elements 1 hit the quartz tube 2.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, by applying a force that compresses the heater element of the quartz tube heater, it is possible to eliminate the sound of the quartz tube and the heater element hitting each other at the time of energization.

Another effect of the present invention is that when the electric heater is pressed or walked by, whether it is in use or not, the electric heater shakes and the quartz tube and heater element hit and make noise. Occur. However, in the case of the present invention, since the quartz tube and the heater element contact each other from the beginning and forcibly apply force, no sound is generated even in the above-mentioned case.
