DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION a. Industrial fields of application The present invention is a method for fixing raw silk fibers or their products with sericin, which imparts bulk and durability to raw silk fibers or their products by a relatively simple treatment method, This method also helps prevent pollution. Furthermore, if an appropriate amount of sericin can be fixed in raw silk fibers, it will be important in terms of dyeing processing from the viewpoint of effective resource utilization. b. Prior art Until now, the formaldehyde method and the glutaraldehyde method (Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-24601), which have been used as relatively simple methods for fixing raw silk fibers or their products with seciline, have been used as modifiers for cellulose and has been widely used as a protein tissue fixative. When these aldehydes are reacted with proteins by heating, the rate of penetration into sericin is accelerated and crosslinking is performed.
As a result, raw silk fibers or products fixed with sericin can be obtained, and this invention has also been found as an application thereof. c. Purpose of the invention A treatment method that fixes sericin in raw silk fibers or their products without discarding them, which can be a source of pollution in rivers and lakes, by immersing them in an aqueous solution containing paraaldehyde (paraacetaldehyde). The present invention provides a method for fixing sericin on raw silk fibers or products thereof, which is characterized in that sericin is insolubilized and fixed on the fibers. d. Constitution of the Invention In other words, the present invention provides an appropriate amount of liquid compound C 6 H 12 O 3 which is immersed in an aqueous solution containing para-aldehyde (para-acetaldehyde) or an acetic acid aqueous solution containing para-aldehyde. This is a sericin fixing processing method that insolubilizes and fixes sericin on raw silk fibers or products thereof. The results of the present invention will be concretely shown in Examples below. Examples 1 to 4 Using 27 medium raw silk (1986 spring silkworm) washed with ether and alcohol, (1) A bath ratio (1:50) was made to the sample raw silk, and paraaldehyde was added to the bath ratio. After immersion treatment at room temperature for 20 hours at a concentration of 60%,
It was washed twice, lightly washed with distilled water, wrung out, dried at room temperature, and dried again in a desiccator. (2) Similarly, it was immersed at room temperature for 20 hours in an aqueous solution containing paraldehyde at a concentration of 5.6%. (3) It was immersed in an aqueous solution of paraldehyde at 5.6% at 55°C for 2 hours with occasional stirring. (4) 5% acetic acid (PH: 3) was added to an aqueous solution containing paraldehyde at a concentration of 10%, and immersion treatment was carried out at 60° C. for 1 hour with occasional stirring. These results are shown in Table 1. The treated raw silk changed color to a pale color except for the addition of acetic acid. In addition, the reduction rate is in a 1% bicarbonate of soda solution.
These are the results of a test conducted at 90°C for 30 to 60 minutes with stirring. Paraldehyde produced in this method has a boiling point of 124°C, compared to acetaldehyde's boiling point of 21°C, and is easy to handle. 【table】
