押上げられ、クランクの下向きの回動により上記
バネの作用で降下するようになつているが、上記
バネが上送り腕を常に押下げるよう作用している
ためミシンを止めたとき、主軸が自由に回転でき
る状態にあり、上送り腕が持上げられた状態にあ
ると、上送り歯が針板上の布或いは針板に達する
まで上送り腕が降下し、これに伴いクランクも押
し下げられ、主軸の回転トルクが小さなミシンで
は慣性の作用により下死点乃至下死点付近まで降
下する。こうしたクランクの下向きの回動はミシ
ンを止めた時点でクランクが上昇行程にあるとき
に問題となる。クランクと伝動機構を介して連結
される主軸を逆回転させるようになり、ミシンを
再び動かして縫製を開始するときに目飛びを生す

ツチの駆動側と連動する上下の送り機構、上針機
構、メス機構、ルーパ機構その他主軸を含むミシ
ンにおける諸機構のうち、適宜の作動部材に上送
り腕を押下げるバネとは逆向きに作用するバネを
設け、該バネにより上記作動部材への前者のバネ
の作用を打消し、主軸の回転を生じさせないよう
にすることである。後者のバネにより上送り歯を
昇降させる既知の上下動機構においてはクランク
が上送り腕に、本出願人がさきに提案した上記タ
イプのものにおいてはクラツチの駆動側が従動側
に押付けられるが、主軸に関してはその一回転
中、ある範囲においては後者のバネの作用に抗し
て回転し、それ以外の範囲では該バネに助勢され
た状態で回転するようになるだけで上送り腕の昇
降には何ら支障を生じない。すなわち主軸がその
一回転中、後者のバネの作用に抗して回転し、こ
れによりクランクが降下し、或いはクラツチの駆
動側が従動側より離れる方向に回動すると、上送
り腕が前者のバネの作用によりクランクとともに
降下するようになり、また後者のバネの作用する
方向に回転し、これによりクランクが上昇し、或
いはクラツチの駆動側が従動側を押し付ける方向
に回動すると、上送り腕が前者のバネの作用に抗

主としてその上下動機構を示すもので、上送り歯
が持上げられている間、弾機装置の作用が係合す
る両クラツチ片を経て上メス軸、主軸、その他こ
れに連動する他の機構に作用するようになつてお
り、この作用による回動を防ぐため二又レバー2

すなわち弾機装置とは逆向きに作用して二又レバ
ー27を上向きに回動するよう付勢するコイルバ
