Metal tiles create a luxurious atmosphere.
For this reason, metal tiles are used in a variety of buildings. However, metal tiles are expensive due to the high cost of materials and complicated long processes such as plating. Moreover, metal tiles are susceptible to corrosion due to being eroded by alkaline liquids that seep from concrete walls such as cement and mortar. The problem is that it cannot be attached directly to a concrete wall because of the

The present invention aims to provide a composite tile that does not lose the luxury and solidity of metal tiles, can significantly reduce costs compared to metal tiles, and does not corrode even when directly attached to a concrete wall. This is what was done.

[Structure of the Invention] The present invention comprises a ceramic tile material with a sandy surface, a sprayed metal layer that covers the surface of the tile material and has a glossy finish, and a surface of the sprayed metal layer. A composite tile characterized by being formed by polymerizing and integrating a covering transparent resin layer and a paint layer having a different color tone from the sprayed metal layer covering the resin layer leaving a patterned part on the surface thereof. This is related to.

As shown in FIGS. 1A, B, and C, an abrasive is sprayed onto the surface of a ceramic tile material 1 of an appropriate shape (square in the figure) to make it look like sand, and the surface of the tile material 1 is coated with, for example, brass. The entire surface of the tile material 1 is covered with a sprayed metal layer 2 by thinly spraying a nonferrous metal such as copper, nickel alloy, etc. (sprayed thickness is 20 to 30 microns). Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the surface of the sprayed metal layer 2 is polished in a radial pattern to give it a glossy finish. To polish in a radial pattern, for example, the tile material may be placed on a rotating table and polished while changing the polishing direction of the polishing machine little by little.
Subsequently, the surface of the sprayed metal layer 2 polished as described above is coated with a transparent resin layer 3 such as polyester to maintain the gloss of the metal surface and prevent oxidation, and to increase the surface strength. Then, by applying a screen printing technique, a synthetic resin printing ink of a different color tone from the sprayed metal is thinly applied to the surface of the resin layer 3, leaving a portion that will become the pattern 4, thereby forming a printing ink layer 5. (See Figures 3 and 4).

With this configuration, the tile surface appears sandy, and the parts of the glossy sprayed metal layer 2 that are not covered with the printing ink layer 5 form a pattern 4 that reflects the lighting and shines beautifully. It creates a luxurious yet calm atmosphere.

It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments; for example, it is possible to apply the paint using a paint other than printing ink and by a technique other than screen printing, and it is also possible to apply the paint by a technique other than screen printing. It goes without saying that the thickness can be increased or decreased as necessary in relation to design, strength, etc., and that various other changes can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.

According to the present invention, (i) it can be easily manufactured without going through complicated long processes such as plating, and the amount of metal used can be significantly reduced, resulting in a significant cost reduction; (ii) tile material Because the surface of the tile is sandy, the adhesion of the sprayed metal is good and it does not peel off even when polished. (iii) When the thickness of the sprayed metal and paint is reduced, the tile surface becomes sandy. The sprayed metal on the sandy surface reflects the light and shines, creating a luxurious yet calming atmosphere. (v) Since the back side is made of ceramic, it will not corrode even if it is directly attached to a concrete wall like conventional ceramic tiles. (vi) When the sprayed metal surface is polished in a radial pattern to give it a glossy finish, it reflects light from any direction and shines beautifully even in a dimly lit room, unlike when it is polished vertically or horizontally. It can produce excellent effects.
