Conventionally, in base station radio equipment, when a transmitter or receiver to be implemented has a synthesizer for local oscillation, a read-only memory ROM for storing channel numbers, and a control circuit, the channels of each transmitter or receiver are and the above ROM in which the fixed channel designation number of the receiver is written.
It is set according to the contents of the panel, and is performed regardless of the mounting position of the panel. However, in wireless equipment, channels are specified by the mounting position for connection with the antenna system and control system, so if the conventional channel specification method described above is used, it is impossible to specify the mounting specification specified for a certain channel. There is a risk of accidentally installing a transmitter and receiver configured on an external channel. Another problem is that when changing the mounting position, it is necessary to replace the ROM and change the control signals.

According to the present invention, a plurality of communication devices each having a means for arbitrarily setting a channel (line frequency) in response to a channel designation signal, and a channel designation signal corresponding to the mounting position of the plurality of communication devices are communicated with each other. According to the present invention, there is provided a channel designation system that includes a control circuit having means for supplying the communication devices to the communication devices, and allows channels of the plurality of communication devices to be set in accordance with their mounting positions.

Next, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram of a communication device (transmitter, receiver, or both) used when implementing the present invention. FIG. 2 shows a block diagram of a device to which the channel designation method according to the present invention is applied. Note that this example considers a base station receiving device in which a maximum of 16 receivers are installed.

In Figure 1, receiver 1 has a channel designator with channel designation numbers for 16 channels written in it.
ROM2 is installed. The ROM 2 can set the synthesizer channel by sending out a signal specifying any one of the 16 channels specified by the 4-bit address signal sent to the four address lines 3. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, in the wireless device 6, an address line 4 is arranged from the control circuit 5 to the mounting position of each receiver. With this configuration, the control circuit 5 sends out an address signal that can specify an arbitrary channel to the mounting position of each receiver 1.

The above example shows a base station receiving device equipped with 16 channels, but this channel specification method can be used as a synthesizer by writing the channel numbers of all the channels installed in the device in the ROM of the transmitter and receiver. This method can be applied to all transmitting and receiving devices that specify channels using ROM for channel specification. In addition, the number of control circuits included in one device and
The number of receivers or transmitters controlled by one control circuit is arbitrary, and the range controlled by the control circuit can extend to other devices.
