Reference numeral 2 indicates a dock body, and the hulls 1, 1 are attached to the left and right sides of the dock body 2 through girders. A water tank 3 is provided on the outside of the hold of the hulls 1, 1 attached to the left and right sides of the dock body 2, and seawater can be injected into and drained from the water tank 3. That is, in the illustrated example, a movable plate 5 that moves up and down by hydraulic pressure is provided inside the water inlet 4, and a desired amount of seawater is injected or drained by remotely controlling the movable plate 5. This is designed to adjust the degree of sinking of the entire floating dock and to maintain balance when a ship or the like enters the central dock body 2 and a load is applied.

Reference numeral 6 indicates watertight doors installed at the front and rear of the dock body 2, which are rotated by hydraulic pressure and configured so that when the doors are closed, the inside and outside of the dock body are watertightly shut off, allowing the seawater inside to be discharged. It can also be used as a dry dock.

In the configuration described above, depending on the total displacement tonnage and water intake of the ship accommodated in the dock body 2, an appropriate amount of seawater is injected into the water tank 3 or drained from the water tank 3, and the floating dock is constructed. In addition to determining the degree of sinking as well as maintaining balance, the work deck 11 can be used for the ship accommodated in the dock body 2 through the watertight door 6, or the deck of the existing hull 1, 1 can be used. In addition, the ship is fixed on the work platform 7 to drain the seawater inside the dock body 2, and the work platform 7 is raised to perform work in a so-called dry dock state. Furthermore, if necessary, the vessel will move to the desired sea area to carry out work.

() Depending on the total displacement tonnage and water intake of the ship accommodated in the dock body 2, or according to the total weight of the ship placed on the work platform 7, the amount of water poured into the water tank 3 is adjusted to the degree of sinking of the entire floating dock. It may also be calculated and automatically performed by a computer in connection with the above.

As mentioned above, the present invention utilizes a second-hand self-propelled hull, and in terms of providing buoyancy, it is possible to accommodate ships of equal size at a much lower cost than conventional hulls. At the same time, it is possible to move to a desired sea area without the need for a dock boat, etc., and it is also possible to adjust the degree of sinking of the entire floating dock according to the total displacement tonnage and water intake of the ship accommodated within the dock body. Furthermore, by providing the dock body with a watertight door that can be opened and closed, and by providing a work table that can be raised and lowered within the dock body, it can also be used as a dry dock.
