あつた。 When the above-mentioned pine-shaped seedlings are used, they are taken out from the seedling stand in predetermined blocks using planting claws, and conventionally, the seeds are generally sown vertically and horizontally at predetermined intervals when raising the seedlings. However, as the seedlings grow, the roots of adjacent seedlings become tightly intertwined, resulting in a drawback that the size of the block seedlings that are removed varies considerably. Therefore, grooves are formed in the bottom of the soil in a grid pattern so that a predetermined amount of block seedlings can be taken out. Disadvantages that may cause deformation or failure to remove blocked seedlings when placed on the seedling stand, such as compression in the width direction of the seedling stand due to lateral movement of the seedling stand, resulting in missing plants. It was hot.

A bedding material for growing seedlings that is filled in a shape-retaining frame material, comprising a first bedding material scattered at predetermined intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions on the bottom plate of the shape-retaining frame material; In combination with a second bedding material that is filled in a continuous layer to fill in the gaps other than the existing locations, the first bedding material has a flat plate shape having a predetermined area. The second bed material is made of a material that is capable of holding the seedlings and has a shape-retaining property that is difficult to disintegrate due to the action of dividing and taking out the seedlings with the planting claws of the rice transplanter. It is characterized in that the flooring material is made of a different material that has greater separability than the first flooring material so that it can be easily separated when taking out the parts.

Both in the width direction and in the longitudinal direction perpendicular to the width direction, there is no buckling deformation or compression unlike the case where the grooves are provided, and moreover, when taking out the block seedlings with the planting claw, the first The first bedding material can be easily and satisfactorily separated from each other in the second bedding material portion that extends almost all around the bedding material, and it has become possible to take out block seedlings in predetermined amounts at a time.

である。 In order to achieve the above object, the method for manufacturing a seedling bed of the present invention allows seedlings to take root, and has shape retention to the extent that it is difficult to collapse due to the action of dividing and taking out seedlings with the planting claw of a rice transplanter. The column-shaped first flooring material is placed inside the shape-retaining frame material,
This is a method in which they are scattered at predetermined intervals in the vertical and horizontal directions, and then a second flooring material having a higher separability than the first flooring material is filled in the spaces between the areas where the first flooring material is present.

As shown in FIG. 2. Using a mold member 6 equipped with a cylindrical hole 5 for filling and an extruder 7 for it, all of the first flooring materials to be dotted vertically and horizontally are dotted within the shape-retaining frame material at once. It is possible,
As mentioned above, the seedling bed can be produced more quickly and easily than in the case where holes are made in the second bed material that is completely filled in the shape-retaining frame material and the holes are filled with the first bed material. .

In this case, if the vertical and horizontal holes formed in the second flooring material and the holes in the mold member are slightly misaligned, the first flooring material is filled into the holes formed in the second flooring material using the molding member. Therefore, it is difficult to fill the vertical and horizontal holes formed in the second flooring material with the first flooring material one by one or in small groups. When filling the second flooring material around the first flooring materials, it is possible to dot all the first flooring materials in the retaining frame material at once using a mold member. By eliminating the need for the process of drilling holes for filling the first bedding material in two bedding materials, and by using a mold member to allow the first bedding material to be dotted within the shape-retaining frame material at once, it is possible to create a nursery bed. can be produced quickly and easily.

The clay first bedding material 2, which is a bedding material with natural properties, is scattered, and the spaces between the first bedding materials 2 are filled in. A sandy second bedding material 3, which is a bedding material with greater separability than the first bedding material 2, is filled, and a recessed portion for accommodating the paddy is attached to the upper part of each of the first bedding materials 2. It is equipped with a seeding section 4 and constitutes a nursery bed for pine-shaped seedlings for use in a rice transplanter.

As shown in FIG. 2, a clay-like material is filled into each of the cylindrical holes 5 of the mold member 6 using a mold member 6 having cylindrical holes 5 and an extruder 7 for the mold member 6 (FIG. 2). ), then placed in the corresponding position in the seedling raising box 1 and extruded from the mold member 6 by the extruder 7,
The seedlings are placed on the seedling raising box 1 in a scattered manner vertically and horizontally (see B in Figure 2). A protrusion 9 is connected to the pressing end surface of each convex member 8 of the extruder 7, and as the extruder 7 is extruded, the protrusion 9 forms the seeding portion 4. Thereafter, a sand-like material is supplied to fill the gaps between the first flooring materials 2 (see C in FIG. 2).

At the same time, a sandy second bedding material 3 is filled to fill the gaps between adjacent first bedding materials 2 to form a seedling bed. Further, a shape-retaining frame portion 2b is integrally extended around the outer periphery of the bottom plate 2a. In this other embodiment, the material of the first floor material 2 is a fibrous material, a phenolic resin material, etc., which can be cut at the bottom plate 2a when the seedlings are taken out using the planting claws.
In addition, various materials can be used as long as they are not decomposed by watering during seedling raising, but are decomposed by being immersed in water for a predetermined period of time, and as the material for the second flooring material 3, Various materials can be used as long as they have greater separability than the first floor material 2.
