Polishing work using a conventional lens polishing device involves attaching and fixing the lens to be polished to a lens attachment plate, covering the attachment plate with a polishing plate, pivoting the polishing plate with a so-called kanzashi, and rotating the lens attachment plate. Polishing was performed by swinging the polishing plate over the polishing plate, or by placing the lens sticking plate over the polishing plate and pivoting the lens sticking plate with a so-called kanzashi, and then rotating the polishing plate and covering the lens sticking plate. Polishing is performed by shaking the polishing material in the same state. The vertical relationship between the polishing plate and the lens, that is, which of the polishing plate and the lens attachment plate should be placed over each other during polishing is determined by the unevenness or curvature of the surface of the lens to be polished.

In other words, no matter which method is used in conventional lens polishing devices, the lens is pasted and fixed on the lens sticking plate, so there is a problem in that it takes a lot of effort and time to attach and remove the lens from the lens sticking plate. In order to solve this problem, collection chucks and vacuum chucks have been used, but these methods have the problem of significantly complicating the means for fixing the lens to the lens attachment plate.

もある。 In addition, when polishing a convex surface with a large curvature of the lens, the lens is polished by placing the lens attachment plate down, that is, by placing the polishing plate over the lens and supporting the polishing plate with a kazashi. Because the polishing liquid is supplied to the surface to be polished, it is not possible to make the outer diameter of the polishing plate larger than the effective diameter of the lens attachment plate. As a result, the polishing efficiency decreases, and it is also difficult to supply the polishing liquid sufficiently and evenly to the entire surface of the lens to be polished. As a result, the polishing plate tends to wear unevenly, and the precision of the polished surface deteriorates. Another problem is that it is difficult to maintain.

る。 The present invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned problem, and the lens is held simply by being pressed against the polishing plate without using any fixing means such as pasting or chuck, and is held by the rotation of the polishing plate. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for polishing lenses that can be polished efficiently.

The present invention holds a lens under pressure between a polished surface and a lens holding member supported by a shaft positioned in the direction normal to the polished surface and rotatable around the shaft,
rotating a polishing plate having the polishing surface about another normal to the polishing surface that intersects the normal;
The lens polishing method is characterized in that one side of the lens is polished while rotating the lens by rotating the polishing plate, and this configuration achieves the above object.

That is, according to the lens polishing method of the present invention,
The lens is held by a simple method of pinching the lens between the polishing surface and the lens holding member, and the lens does not need to be pasted, and the lens holding member can freely rotate while polishing the polishing plate having the polishing surface. This is done efficiently by a simple method of rotating around a normal line different from the center normal line of , and there is no need for a complicated mechanism that is difficult to speed up, such as a swinging mechanism using a kanzashi.
以下、本発明を図示例によつて説明する。 The present invention will be explained below using illustrated examples.

持するように形成されている。 In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a polishing plate that is integrally attached to the rotating shaft 2 by screwing, for example, 3 is a lens, 4 is a lens holding member of a lens holding device, and 5
is also a supporting member. The support member 5 is rotatable by a bearing 6 about the axis normal to the center of the lens holding member 4 and the polishing surface 1a of the polishing plate 1, that is, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the polishing surface 1a. The lens holding member 4 is supported and further configured to be able to move forward and backward in the axial direction thereof.
As shown in FIG. 1 (or FIG. 2), the tip of the lens holding member 4 has a size that covers the entire surface of the lens 3 opposite to the surface to be polished, or most of it except for the peripheral edge. The lens 3 is formed so as to come into contact with the surface opposite to the surface to be polished, and to hold the lens 3 between it and the polishing surface 1a of the polishing plate 1.

Place the surface to be polished in contact with the polishing surface 1a of
By bringing the tip of the lens 3 into contact with the surface opposite to the polished surface of the lens 3, the lens 3 is brought into contact with the polished surface 1a of the polishing plate 1.
is held in a position off the center of rotation. In this state, when the lens 3 is pressed against the polishing plate 1 by the support member 5 and the rotating shaft 2 is rotated, the lens 3 is held in position by the lens holding member 4, so that the polishing plate 1 is polished. It will be subjected to rubbing by the surface 1a. Since the sliding speed of the polished surface 1a is so high that it deviates from the center, rotational torque is applied to the lens 3, and the lens holding member 4
is rotatably supported by the support member 5,
Since the lens 3 rotates almost integrally with the lens holding member 4, the lens 3 can be polished uniformly and efficiently.

By the rotation of the polishing plate 1 and the rotation of the lens 3, the entire surface of the lens 3 to be polished is easily and uniformly supplied.

The purpose can be achieved in almost the same way even if the camera is oriented horizontally or horizontally.

According to the present invention, it is easy to attach and detach the lens, the polishing liquid is easily and evenly supplied, the polishing surface of the polishing plate is not unevenly worn, and the outer diameter of the polishing plate is used to hold the lens. This provides an excellent effect in that a lens having a convex surface with a large curvature and a thin edge can be easily and efficiently polished.
