Conventionally, there is a method disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 40-25185 as a method for producing polyester slab-like yarn from a single yarn, but this method requires pretreatment and is complicated to operate, and the difference between spindles is The disadvantage was that it was easy for this to occur.

The present invention solves the drawbacks of the conventional method and provides a method for easily producing polyester slab-tailored yarn. A method for producing a polyester slab-like yarn characterized by looping and interlacing the yarn and then drawing it.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a side view showing an example of an apparatus used in carrying out the present invention. In the figure, a polyester thick-and-thin yarn 1 having a natural stretching region is connected to a loop installed between a feed roller 2 and a first delivery roller 3. It is supplied to a device 4 for imparting entanglement, and then stretched and wound in a stretching zone constituted by a first delivery roller 3 and a second delivery roller 5.

At this time, the functions and effects that the pick-and-thin yarn receives under the apparatus shown in FIG. 1 are as follows. In this case, the yarn after passing through the loop and entanglement imparting device 4 is provided with almost uniform loops and entanglements along the longitudinal direction of the yarn, as shown in FIG. 2, and is subsequently subjected to a drawing action. At this time, mainly in the natural stretching region of the single fiber, since the Young's modulus is small, strong loops and entanglements are formed, but since the entanglement in other parts is weak, the loops disappear or are significantly reduced by the above-mentioned stretching action.

Therefore, the wound yarn has intermittent loops and entanglements as shown in FIG. Of course, heat treatment may be performed for the purpose of reducing residual shrinkage in the stretched portion during stretching, or false twisting may be added at the same time as stretching to achieve the desired purpose; however, due to the nature of the supplied yarn 1, It is preferable that the thick part is less likely to become brittle due to heat treatment, and therefore the birefringence Δn of the thick part of the single fiber constituting the thick part of the supplied yarn is preferably 12 × 10 -3 or less. becomes.

On the other hand, the stretching ratio varies depending on the size of the natural stretching region of the supplied raw yarn, the strength of entanglement at the time of looping, etc., and the temperature for heat treatment depends on the processing speed and processing time. It cannot be determined unambiguously because it depends on the situation.

Example 1 A polyester thick-and-thin yarn whose denier was measured with a trial length of 100 m.
183, semi-dull yarn with 48 filaments has a test length of 20 at room temperature of 20℃ and relative humidity of 65%.
cm, the natural stretching region determined from the stress-strain curve measured at 100% tensile speed is approximately 9%, the elongation at break is 76%, the Worcester U% (medium period) is 2.5%, and the boiling water shrinkage rate is approximately 9%. 68% yarn was processed on the device shown in Figure 1 at a feed roller circumferential speed of 115 m/min, a first delivery roller circumferential speed of 100 m/min, and an air pressure of 4.0 Kg/cm 2 G of a loop entangling device, and then transferred to a second delivery roller. Stretching was performed at a circumferential speed of 111 m/min and at room temperature of 28°C.

The resulting yarn became a yarn in which the loops disappeared intermittently, and when this was knitted and dyed, the loop portions became light colored, and the portions where the loops disappeared contracted and became dark colored.

Example 2 A supply yarn similar to that used in Example 1 was produced using the apparatus shown in FIG. 1, which included a 90 cm heater and a false twisting spindle between the first delivery roller 3 and the second delivery roller 5. Processing was carried out under the same conditions as in Example 1, except that the false twisting spindle rotation speed was 25.5×10 4 times/min and the heater temperature was 160°C.
A crimped yarn in which the loops disappeared intermittently was obtained.
