[Function] A carrier body that travels to transport objects on a pallet and unload them at a predetermined position is moved into or out of the pallet with a cover installed on the carrier body. At this time, among the pair of front and rear connecting rods that are supported by the carrier body and releasably connect the carrier body and the cover, both the connecting rods on the approach direction side or the opposite side to the exit direction are retracted downward, and the vehicle By displacing this rod within the width,
With the cover disengaged from the cover bracket attached to the cover, guide rollers attached to the lower edges of both sides of the cover are rolled on guide rails laid on the pallet to move the cover onto the pallet. or remove it from the pallet. Further, after the carrier body enters into the pallet or leaves the pallet, both the connecting rods on the side in the approaching direction or in the opposite direction to the leaving direction are displaced outside the vehicle width and extend upward to connect the two connecting rods. Reconnect the rod and the cover bracket.

The rear mirror rods 28 each have rear mirrors 27 disposed on both sides of the front and rear driver's cabs 4 attached to their tips, and their base ends are connected to the tips of the upper guide tubes 20 so as to be swingable in the horizontal direction. At the same time, there is a connecting rod 1 near the center.
The tip of a link 29, which is movable in the horizontal direction, is connected to the upper end of the outer cylinder 12a of No. 2, and when the connecting rod 12 is displaced outward, the back mirror rod 28 is horizontally moved outward. By swinging, the rearview mirror 27 can be extended outside the vehicle width of the carrier body 1. On the other hand, when the connecting rod 12 is displaced inward, the rearview mirror rod 28 can be moved horizontally along the longitudinal direction. The back mirror 27 can be stored in the vicinity of the driver's cab 4 before entering the pallet 2.

A pair of front and rear sensors 24, 24 send a signal to disengage the connection between both connecting rods 12 and both cover brackets 16 on the traveling direction side when the carrier main body 1 enters the pallet 2, and also send a signal to both connecting rods on the traveling direction side. 12 inwardly, and the carrier body 1 inside the pallet 2
When exiting, the carrier body is used to send a signal to advance both connecting rods 12 on the side opposite to the exiting direction outward, and a signal to connect both connecting rods 12 on the side opposite to the exiting direction and both cover brackets 16. 1
The cover 10 is installed on the front and rear driver's cabs 4 near the front and rear ends of the carrier body 1, and the vicinity of the end of the carrier body 1 in the direction of travel slightly protrudes into the pallet 2, and the vicinity of the end of the cover 10 in the direction of travel moves onto the pallet 2. Then, in response to the signal from the sensor 24 on the traveling direction side, the piston shafts 19a of both the second hydraulic cylinders 19 on the traveling direction side move downward together with the inner cylinders 12b, thereby connecting both the connecting rods 12 on the traveling direction side and both cover brackets 16. The connection is disengaged, and then the piston shafts 18a of both the first hydraulic cylinders 18 on the traveling direction side are respectively retracted, and both the connecting rods 12 are each retracted into the width of the vehicle. Then, when the carrier body 1 penetrates into the pallet 2 and the cover 10 moves to a position where it covers the entire transported object B on the pallet 2, the above series of operations is performed in reverse order. The two connecting rods 12 on the entry side and the two cover brackets 16 can be reconnected.

On the other hand, when the carrier body 1 is to be moved out of the pallet 2 after the transported object B and the pallet 2 have been placed in the carry-in position, the above series of operations is carried out in forward direction on the side opposite to the exit direction, and both connections on the side opposite to the exit direction are Arm 1
2 from both cover brackets 16 and retracted inward, remove the carrier body 1.
When the cover 10 is withdrawn until the vicinity of the end on the side opposite to the withdrawal direction is placed on the pallet 2 and both connecting rods 12 on the side opposite to the withdrawal direction are exposed to the outside of the pallet 2, the sensor 24 on the side opposite to the withdrawal direction is withdrawn. The piston shaft 1 of both first hydraulic cylinders 18 on the side opposite to the withdrawal direction is activated by the signal.
8a respectively advance and both connecting rods 12 on the side opposite to the withdrawal direction advance outward, and then the piston shafts 1 of both second hydraulic cylinders 19 on the side opposite to the withdrawal direction are moved.

In this example, the carrier main body is formed so as to be able to enter into the pallet 2 in order to transport the object B on the pallet 2, which has a substantially mold-shaped front face and a pair of guide rails 5 laid on the upper surface, together with the pallet 2. A cover 10 that opens downward is installed on top of the pallet 1 to move onto the pallet 2 and cover the transported object B when the carrier body 1 enters the pallet 2.
An appropriate number of guide rollers 11 for rolling on the guide rails 5 are attached to the lower edges of both sides, and the carrier body 1 and the cover 10 are attached to each other.
A pair of front and rear cover brackets 16 are attached to both sides near the front and rear ends of the cover 10.
and a pair of front and rear connecting rods each supported by the carrier body 1 so as to be able to advance to a position directly below the cover bracket 16 and retract within the vehicle width of the carrier body 1, and each of which is formed to be extendable and retractable in the vertical direction. They are releasably linked via 12.

Therefore, as the carrier body 1 moves into the pallet 2, the cover 10 is moved onto the pallet 2 to cover the transported object B with the cover 10, and
The cover 10 can be removed from the pallet 2 as the carrier body 1 moves out from the pallet 2, and the work for covering the transported object B with the cover 10 and the removal of the cover 10 from the pallet 2 are performed. These operations can be carried out simply and safely, making the transportation work more efficient and labor-saving, as well as eliminating the problem of the cover obstructing the work of loading and unloading the objects B onto the pallet 2.

In particular, the distance between each pair of connecting rods 12 at the front and rear is expanded or contracted so that the distance between each pair of connecting rods 12 when expanded is L1.
2 and each pair of cover brackets 16 are connected to each other, the distance between each pair of cover brackets 16 is expanded, and the width of the cover 10 is changed, and both connecting rods 12 are displaced within the vehicle width. The width of the cover 10 can be set to almost match the width of the pallet 2, and both sides of the cover 10 This has the effect of eliminating the dead space formed between the pallet 2 and the side edge of the pallet 2, and expanding the effective space for loading the goods B on the pallet 2.

Furthermore, since the cover 10 is permanently placed on the carrier body 1 and not on the pallet 2, the number of covers 10 installed can be greatly reduced, resulting in cost savings.
