The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and is configured as a first solution to the problem. In a method for cutting: After forming a hole in a hard object located on a planned cutting line, a part of the wire saw is positioned on the planned cutting line of the hard object via a guide means, and the guide means is advanced into the hole. By moving the wire saw along with the guide means, the wire saw is moved on a plane along the planned cutting line. The second solution is a method of cutting a hard object using an endless wire saw that is rotated in a circumferential direction via a drive pulley. After forming a vertical hole and a pair of horizontal holes that communicate with the bottoms of the vertical holes, enter the loop part of the wire saw through one of the horizontal holes, insert it through one of the vertical holes, pass through the top of the hard object, and enter the other vertical hole. As well as wrapping it so that it enters and inserts it from the other side hole,
The wire saw is held by a pair of guide means inserted into the pair of vertical holes so as to be movable back and forth, and the guide means enters the vertical holes, thereby creating a plane that connects the wire saw with the guide means to the pair of vertical holes. At the point of moving above.

According to the present invention, the wire saw does not cut the hard object by wrapping it around the object to be cut, but cuts the hard object by guiding a part of the wire saw along the planned cutting line through the guide means. Therefore, the hard object can be cut into a desired shape. Furthermore, since a hole is formed in a hard object located on the planned cutting line, and the guide stage is allowed to enter the hole, for example, when excavating a stone or the like, when cutting a stone of a predetermined shape from the bedrock, etc. Even when it is not possible to wrap the wire saw around the hard object on the desired cutting line, the hard object can be suitably cut along the predetermined cutting line.

Further, according to the present invention, in addition to a pair of vertical holes located on the planned cutting line, a pair of horizontal holes are formed in the hard object, each communicating with the bottom of the vertical hole, and the wire is inserted through the vertical holes and the horizontal holes. By making it possible to wrap the saw around the saw and allowing the guide means to enter into the vertical hole, it is possible to suitably cut the planned cutting line between the pair of vertical holes, so it is possible to cut the stone material in an uplifted place such as a rocky mountain. Hard objects such as rock can be suitably cut in cutting and raising operations.
