Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional configuration described above, since a high voltage is applied to all of the conductive filaments 103, the distribution of electric lines of force 104 from each of the conductive filaments 103 toward the ground electrode 101 is limited. As shown in FIG. 2, there are no electric lines of force 104 in the portions 102a of the high dielectric constant filter 102 corresponding between the conductive wires 103, and the electric field becomes non-uniform as a whole. Therefore, portion 10 of filter 102
2a had the problem that clogging occurs slowly in localized areas, and clogging occurs in other areas in a relatively short period of time.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve this object, the electrostatic air purifier of the present invention includes a U-shaped or V-shaped grounding electrode with ventilation, and an air intake side of the grounding electrode. A high-permittivity filter of the same shape is provided in close contact with the inner surface of the filter, and multiple conductive wires are placed in the longitudinal center of the high-permittivity filter and to which a high voltage is applied by a high-voltage generator. A conductive wire grounded to the ground electrode is provided at an intermediate position between the conductive wires to uniformize the electric field applied to the high dielectric constant filter.

Effect When a high voltage is applied to a plurality of conductive filaments in this configuration, lines of electric force generated from the conductive filaments to which a high voltage is applied toward the ground electrode are generated between the conductive filaments. The electric field distribution of the high dielectric constant filter becomes almost uniform because the high dielectric constant filter is attracted to the conductive wire provided at a certain position and grounded to the ground electrode.

As shown in the figure, a device main body 1 is provided with an inlet 2 and an outlet 3, and inside there is a blower 4 that takes in air from the inlet 2 and blows it out from the outlet 3, and a conductive fiber or linear body. An air permeable ground electrode 5 formed in a substantially U-shape is provided with an opening corresponding to the suction port 2, and a high dielectric constant filter 6 of the same shape is provided in close contact with the inner surface of the ground electrode 5. A plurality of conductive wires 8 connected to the poles of a high voltage generator 7 provided in the device main body 1 are provided in the longitudinal center of the high dielectric constant filter 6. A conductive wire 8' grounded to the ground electrode 5 is provided at an intermediate position between the conductive wires 8 and 8, and the pole of the high voltage generator 7 is connected to the ground electrode 5, so that an electric force is generated from the conductive wire 8. The structure is such that the wire 9 is generated toward the ground electrode 5.

In the drawings used to explain the above embodiment, two conductive wires 8 to which a high voltage is applied are used, and a ground electrode 5 and one conductive wire 8' grounded are used at an intermediate position. However, depending on the size of the air purifying device, even if two or more conductive wires 8 to which a high voltage is applied are provided, the conductive wire 8' grounded to the ground electrode 5 may be connected to a high voltage. If it is provided at an intermediate position between the conductive filaments 8 to which is applied, the same effect as described above can be obtained. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the shape of the ground electrode 5 is not limited to the U-shape, but may be V-shape.
