端部に案内係合させることに依つて上記問題点の
解決を図ろうとするものである。

のレバーを外爪3先端部の針板1側に回動自在に
軸着し、常時は、バネ手段に依りレバー先端が、
外爪3の内側に対向する針板1の側端に当接する
ように構成されている。これを、第3図によつて
更に詳説する。この実施例において、外爪3の先
端部は、左半部切欠かれ、ここに空環案内手段4
としてのレバーが位置する。すなわち、前記切欠
き部分の下部の外爪3上には、レバー(空環案内
手段)4の接合部としての凹部4aが形成されて
いる。この凹部4aは、レバー4が左方に回転す
るために、上辺および左辺部が底面を同一平面に

上記構成の下に次の動作を説明する。まづ、外
爪3に空環が形成されていないとき、レバー(空
環案内手段)4はバネ手段4bによつてその先端
部を針板1の外爪3との対向側端に当接させてい

になつたレバー(空環案内手段)4の外側面に案
内されて極めて円滑に外爪3の先端部に係合し、
空環Aの手前側の端部は空環保持兼切断器5でカ
ツトと同時にクランプされる。(第5図参照)
〔発明の効果〕
この発明は、以上述べた構成により、作業者が
特に意図しなくても、必要時に自動的に中爪への
開路を閉じることによつて、円滑な空環の廻し持
ち作業が実現しうるとともに、その構成も簡単で
部品点数も少ないので、作動信頼性も高く、原価
コストも大幅に低減しうるという効果が得られ
